It’s still hard to believe that how nice this bag is and that it’s mine and that I got it in Amazon. I’ve been searching for a high quality bag and was willing to pay 3x this price... I have many designer bags and somehow this is better than anything I’ve ever owned. I’m so happy I tried this out because I’ll never own another bag again. I literally get asked everywhere I go where I got my bag and everyone’s shocked to hear it was Amazon. I want it in every color... red is next for my bday! The leather is insanely high quality, straps are *LONG,* COMFY AND STURDY... Normally shoulder bag straps are either too short or so thin that they hurt/feel unreliable. So many inside pockets plus an outside pocket... It fits so much yet it’s not a big ugly tote.. it’s still a shoulder purse. I carry a giant wallet, small wallet, mints, chapstick, medication, a giant core water... and more and it all fits perfectly and straps are comfy. I only just received this bag but I like it very much, it’s what I was hoping it would be like. First, it is lightweight for being leather!! It has a deep inside center zipper, an inside side zipper pocket and a regular pocket, then the outside zipper. This all makes it easier to keep things organized so you find your things without digging around a big deep bag. The opening is wide so you see to the bottom. I followed someone’s advice and bought the grey so I don’t have to keep changing purses from black to brown all winter as it goes with everything. ... show more

I have waited about 6 weeks after purchase to write this review. I am very impressed with this bag. I wanted a red (red red, not orangey red) leather tote. But I did not want a huge tote. I wanted a tote that would hold my regular handbag items plus a ball of yarn. I love to crochet and want to be able to carry a ball of yarn and crochet hook for making a pot holder or baby hat. So, first of all, this bag is light compared to other leather bags. I normally carry a wristlet/wallet (7.75" x 4" x 0.5"), phone, Tablet, hairbrush, 2 ink pens, 2.5 oz lotion, 2-3 lip products, a protein bar, skittles (my hubby is diabetic), pain reliever, keys, inhaler, hair stuff, emergency kit (safety pins, button, thread, Bobby pins, etc), a ball of yarn, crochet hook and a 20oz bottle of water or coke. And this bag does not have stuff spilling out of the top! Everything fits nicely. There are two zipper pockets inside and one zipper outside. Also two open top pockets inside (perfect place for my phone and inhaler). The color is nice, the outside feels nice and soft, the inside is a nice solid medium brown, the straps appear to be well sewn and are comfortable on the shoulder. So far (6 weeks of use from purchase), I am a very happy camper. If I would use other colors, I would purchase other colors, but I only use a red handbag -- helps me keep up with it. One note: if I was trying to carry all MY normal stuff plus diapers, baby clothes, bottle, I would want a little bit larger bag. ... show more

Nice quality leather, great ergonomic shape that stays on your shoulder and conforms to your body under your arm. I wish the lining was a lighter color (to help find stuff inside) but for the price this bag is a fantastic value. Also very pretty and tailored-looking. Nice and deep so items don't fall out. I am miserable about this bag. The chemical stench it emitted when I first received this was revolting. I have since aired it out for weeks in a closet but had to remove the bag from there because the odor was permeating the entire closet, have left it in a steamy bathroom, putting an unopened bar of soap in it. I’ve left it in the garage, and in the laundry room—same problem. Odor dissipated a minuscule amount after doing all this and I had hoped that eventually the stink would be completely gone. Well, it hasn’t gone, and I will not carry this bag around others due to the bad odor that comes off it. This tells me that either the bag is fake leather or it’s a cheap leather. Either way it’s definitely treated with what is probably a very unhealthy chemical. I should have stuck to my The Sak bags of which I have several and just paid a little more—those bags never stink. The seller wrote in response to my initial review asking that I just continue to air it out. In this case they should have provided an outright replacement. My money went down the drain with this bag—don’t make the same mistake. ... show more
