Who would have thought picking out a pair of slippers would be so difficult? For most people, maybe it’s easy. I have always gone barefoot in my house - always, even in the NH winter. But recently I have been trying to get rid of calluses on my feet and realize that going barefoot doesn’t help. So I was off to find a decent pair of super comfy slippers. My must haves were comfy, memory foam bottoms and soft outer soles. I didn’t care so much about the tops provided they were soft. I initially bought a pair of Isotoner clogs but hated that they felt like shoes when reclining or relaxing on the couch. Also, didn’t like the clunky sound when walking around the house. Then I purchased some super soft plush slippers with non skid bottoms. They are really comfortable but they make a squeaky sound when walking on the wood floors. I feel like Goldilocks. The Isotoner ballerina flats are just right. They are very comfy without being over the top. They aren’t too hot but keep my feet warm. They have insoles that have some spring back like memory foam but they don’t call it that. The bottoms are suede or micro suede and very quiet - just what I was looking for. I wear a size 8 1/2 in shoes and the size large fits fine. I couldn’t see these fitting a size nine as stated though. ... show more

    • So-so slippers could be better like they used to be

Isotoner has changed their slippers over time. They used to be a great fit "as expected", but they've gotten smaller and smaller, so I have to buy larger and larger whenever I order. They don't last very long. I try not to wash them as often as I'd like because they wear out too fast. I haven't found any other slippers brand-wise that I like or that fit. I've tried going back to scuffs, but they make the bottom part so thick that it's hard to walk in them, so I end up back in my Isotoners. What can I say? Everything these days is made so cheap and it's disappointing. I'm very tired of so many products that used to be top notch have become cheap and made in China. Not sure where these are made, but they are cheaply made AND I noticed that they no longer make the suede bottoms. It's some kind of faux suede which is really cheap. Disappointed when they could be better and their prices are way too expensive for the quality. ... show more

I like these slippers. I've worn Isotoner for years so I trust the product. I purchased them for the color and for the suede(ish) sole that doesn't slide on tile floors. I have a toe that doesn't want to stay up so I have to manually position that toe in the slipper. Since these are soft throughout, I'm able to that. Doesn't work for me with a hard sole. They are comfy and keep your feet warm yet not too hot in the summer. This style ran just a bit small for me this time. They're comfortable enough but my toe goes almost to the end and I like to have about a half inch of space. ... show more

I've been looking for the perfect foot covering for a long time. I ordered two pair of the Isotoner slippers and I can say they are the best slippers EVER! Comfortable, light weight. Keep my constantly cold feet warm yet they breathe so they don't sweat. They also don't leave marks on the tops of my feet where the stretch material sits. I WILL buy them again when these wear out. Ooo-lah-lah... So soft and comfortable. Exactly what I was looking for. Warms up the feet, so no cramping; not so warm that your feet get too hot or sweaty. First thought I might have to add a piece of elastic over top of foot to keep from slipping, but hugs foot well with elastic already through the whole inner edge opening. ... show more

This is the third pair of these I ordered. I am a size 10 so ordered the XL. I have to say this pair seemed slightly too tight when I put them on. After wearing them 2 times, they fit just right. I love these because they keep your feet from getting chilled but they don't make your feet hot. I have an issue with my feet getting hot easily. These have a little cushion in them which makes them pretty comfy to wear around the house. They hold up pretty well also. I wear them a lot and outside some too to take out garbage and stuff. I accidentally ordered too big the first time, did a return & re-order. These are perfect for warm-weather slippers - light & breathable, but a decent sole that makes sure my feet aren't bothered when I step on a stray kibble or such.

These are as I expected. I have a wide foot and these fit comfortably. The are warm enough for most times, and I can wear them with socks on really cold mornings. The elastic that runs around the opening keeps the slippers on without being too tight or noticeable.
