I bought this after finally finishing a container of a different clear whey isolate brand called SEEQ. I thought the protein powder I had previously was okay, it wasn't bad enough to throw out by any means but I also found sickly sweet and artificial tasting. The isopure citrus lemonade however is SO GOOD!!! I mix it with 32 oz of water because that's the size of my preferred water bottle and I don't feel like dealing with multiple containers. That does dilute the flavor (though not the protein content of course). So with that amount of water it tastes more like water with lemon in it than it does lemonade, but it's extremely light and refreshing, a little tart and not at all too sweet. It is a little difficult to mix, but starting with a splash of hot water does help it dissolve faster. It foams up but so did the other clear protein powder I used so I think it just goes with the territory. I bought the smaller 16 serving container but off of one taste I'll be buying the larger container the second this stuff gets even vaguely low. For 20 grams of protein and only 90 calories I don't think it can be beat! ... show more

I bought the Watermelon Lime flavor to try to replace thick, milky protein shakes of the past. I'm a PCOS girl trying to up my protein, so protein shakes are almost a must for me. This is good, but I will say, the foam took much longer than a minute to go away. It smells just like a watermelon Jolly Rancher and the taste isn't too far off from that. There is a weird aftertaste, I don't want to say it's milky, but you can almost taste the whey. The tanginess of the drink masks it 90% of the time, but every 3rd sip or so I can taste it. Initially, I tried the berry, which had a nice flavor, but the after taste made me a little queasy. I ended up only doing half scoops with full recommended water to cut down on aftertaste. This time I ordered the tropical punch, and I almost feel like there is no after taste at all! I also ad a scoop of creatine with my protein and it mixes nicely! 1. The product does not mix very at all. If you have access to warm water & a blender you’ll be fine. 2. One big a** scoop is only 20g & that’s not the amount metabolized either. So you’ll need to double scoop & buy a couple containers. 3. It’s not a powder you can just shake & go or else it’ll be clumpy. It produces a massive amount of foam. -BLEND W/SMALL AMOUNT OF WARM WATER. -Finish getting ready to let the foam settle -Add ice or put in fridge to settle it quicker -Then add more water. It will not foam up again after fully settled! The fact that this product has a taste as light as Crystal Light, uses much less dyes & heavy sugars, & does not bloat me like traditional wheys, makes it worth the hassle. It’s very easy to stomach. Would get more stars if it had higher protein yield & less foam. I would recommend IF, convenience is not your biggest focus. Just bought two more containers of Lemonade, I won’t dare try another flavor because I know this is as light as it’ll get & I need to be able to chug it.
