This product worked well but definitely wear a shirt under it if you have the red parts making contact with your skin it will burn you. Got it today and used it for the first time (20 minutes on the elliptical) and it started burning towards the end but pushed through it. Got off to take a shower and the warm water made contact with the effected area and actually made it feel like I had a regular burn from hot metal. ... show more

So when I bought this I thought it was going to be a total scam. But for the money, I thought to myself, "Self, the science behind this thing seems legit. . . give it a shot." So glad that I did. A bit about me. I am 45 (46 in March), workout 6 days a week (3 days of weight training with trainer and 6 cardio), eat relatively healthy (no fast food, cook at home with whole ingredients, etc. . .), I use supplements like thermogenic and CLK, and am on HRT (testosterone injections and HGH promoting injections. I would consider myself in pretty good shape, especially compared to most my age, but I have a problem with belly fat. I have had a four pack for years and have been frustrated with my inability to lose the belly bulge. So when I came across this, I thought what the hell. After one week's use I have lost almost an inch off of my belly and am down 3 lbs. What I noticed about wearing this belt is that you can actually feel it working. I don't necessarily mean just the heat from the belt (something I'll address in a minute) but I do subscribe to doing cardio before eating breakfast to utilize fat for energy. Before using the belt, I was a bit sluggish toward the end of my 30-45 min elliptical session. Now I seem to have more energy toward the end than I do at the beginning. Could it by in my head, sure it could, but I don' think it is. Now. . . the important stuff. This thing can get HOT! And by hot I mean OUCH! There are no batteries or power source other than your belly. You won't really notice anything for the first 15 mins you're wearing it, but after that, you will start to feel a slight "sunburn" coming on to the point that you feel like your stomach is pressed against a hot stove. I don't get that sensation while wearing it for lifting, but during cardio it gets hot . . . really hot. I have gotten used to it and can make it the whole 30 -45 mins w/o taking it off, but I would recommend to ease into it. Once you take it off, you will feel it continue to "burn" for another hour or so. Showering in hot water or getting in the sauna are not recommended after using. I also wear this under a neoprene sweat "shirt" that I purchased on amazon (http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LMJAPJ4?redirect=true&ref_=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_38). It does not constrict movement at all. I do crunches, lift, run, elliptical, etc. . . and have never thought, "gosh this things is constricting!" Overall, I think it is a great product. I am hopeful to get back down to the 32" waist that will match what the rest of my body looks like. At this rate, I should make it by my birthday. I'll update as warranted. UPDATE: Well I was wearing this every day while working out - had begun to lose inches (4 to be exact) and then it stopped giving me the burn! I contacted Iron Bull Strength and asked if I was doing something wrong. I got an email back within 15 mins with suggestions on how to correct the situation. I tried for a week to use the suggestion but to no avail. I sent another email asking if there was anything else I could try and the response was, "Nope, it's defective, we're sending you a new one!" Not only did they send me a new one, but they sent me the latest and greatest model. It arrived today and I am going to wear it this weekend and next week for my workouts. I will update here as well as the product page of the new version (the heating "element" now wraps all the way around - love handles)! Kudos to IBS! ... show more

The belt is very narrow and will only cover half my stomache at a time. I do have a long torse but still. If I place it on the bottom abdomen it reaches my belly button then i have to switch it to the top part of my abdomen. Then the sides one at a time because the heating material is only located on one portion. I also got the size I was reading would fit me and its huge. I cant tighten it properly because the wings overlap. It does get warm pretty nicely which is an even bigger bonus since it's cold outside and my tummy is toasty. I did have it on my lower back for a while where I have pain and it works like a heating pad. ... show more

The belt is as advertised. Just so people that are thinking about buying His belt, understand that you need to read the reviews before you purchase. This belt , when you put it on begins to burn. I am talking about the type of burn. that you feel when you put Icy Hot on your skin. It is that INTENSE. I can endure. Pain for a bit, but I can only keep this belt on. For the maximum time of approximately 40 to 45 minutes . At that point, it just gets uncomfortable. First of all, are you kidding me with Amazon's shipping? I clicked "submit order" and then heard a knock at my door 10 minutes later when the FedEx guy delivered it to me. Obviously I'm kidding but wow, next day it showed up and I didn't even pay for next day shipping. Very fast. I'm very big into fitness at 42 years old and I like to try little gadgets and belts and toys and trinkets, always have loved that stuff. This belt does exactly what it says it does, and damn does it burn. I'm not even really sure how it works but if you can keep it on for more than 15 minutes then you need to get into MMA and fight for the UFC since you probably have a high pain tolerance threshold. This awesome bastard burns big time and I love it. It almost feels like I sprayed capsaicin or pepper spray on my stomach where the red part of the belt touches. Now, I can't say anything about the "science" of spot reduction of fat but if their claim that heating up the targeted area (similar to the difference between a lump of lard in your refrigerator compared to a lump of lard in a hot frying pan melting away) is proven, then this definitely is the correct device to be using to attain those results. I'm happy with the belt. I'll come back when I have some more definite results to share but as I said, if spot reduction of fat is something you are concerned with and this theory of spot reduction via target blasting of fiery heat to the area of fat is more than just a theory, then definitely get this. ... show more

This product was delivered on November 6th. For the first few days it became incredibly hot against my skin while doing my cardio. So hot I couldn't have it on for longer than an hour or so. After that first few days, the belt no longer heats up. I can wear it all day now without discomfort of any kind. Now on November 16th, the belt no longer serves a purpose. A total waste of money. Do not buy if you actually expect to gain a shredded abdomen. ... show more
