    • Works well enough with Cricut Maker 3

I've made a couple things with this using the Maker 3. I'm relatively new to using vinyl this way, so I am not familiar with what would be a 'normal' experience. The default pressure for permanent glossy vinyl worked for me. I was able to cut a very detailed sticker with slivers of material 1mm wide that tapered to points. It was hell to weed, but it all came out fine in the end. I also did some larger text with segments between about a centimeter down to 2 or 3 millimeters. It still turned out, but I had more difficulty weeding this and separating it from the backing. Sometimes the vinyl would not separate at the cut line without dragging the letter a short distance. Sometimes the backing paper would peel away only partially, leaving the adhesive covered by an even thinner, exact shape that would be very hard to remove. I imagine I could solve the scooting sticker problem with smarter weeding order. If I remove the small inside bits first instead of the outside excess, it probably would turn out better. When the backing would start to peel in an incomplete fashion, I'd try peeling from another direction and that seemed to work. However, this leads me to believe there's no ideal pressure since cuts can be at the same time not thorough, and too deep. A somewhat stronger backing, or a stronger bond between the layers of the backing, would be nice. As for adhesive strength, I am not sure how long it will last. I stuck it to a jar, waited a day, and I was able to peel it right off without any residue left behind. I've stuck some to the outside of my door to see how it holds up to the elements, but I haven't had the elements visit me yet to try and rip it down so I am still not sure how that will go. On the plus side, at least now you know if you stick it to glass and muff it up you can peel it off and try again without too much fuss. ... show more

This vinyl roll is just as good as more expensive ones I have used. It is very sticky and attaches well to most surfaces. I was able to get a lot of good letters, patterns and designs out of this vinyl on my Cricut and they all looked good. Highly recommend!

Overall, I am really happy with this permanent vinyl roll. I ordered the 12' x 10', and considering how much you get, it's an awesome value. In terms of performance, it's comparable to the Cricut brand. I've purchased several off-brand vinyls over the years - some work well, some are terrible. This vinyl cuts great, and is easy to weed. It transfers well too (I typically use Cricut brand transfer tape). I will say, it is slightly thinner than others I've used, including name brand. However, I don't notice a difference in terms of overall look or performance, and I actually like it better because it makes layering easier. The decals aren't nearly as bulky using this vinyl. I plan to use it to make Halloween themed cups to give away to trick or treaters. To make sure the quality was what I needed, I made two ahead of time for my kids. They've used their cups several times now, and even after multiple rounds of them being washed in the dishwasher, I haven't noticed any issues with peeling or bubbling. I like that you get a decent amount of vinyl, cons it weeds like poo and when you go to transfer its horrible to transfer to a surface. Won't buy again going back to oracle

It seems a little thinner than the name brand stuff I normally use, but not significantly so. Otherwise, it works great and I had no issues using it. At the price point it's offered it's really a good bargain when you don't want to spend a lot on the name brand stuff.
