I purchased these for my 17 year old son for Christmas, and let’s just say I definitely got MOMofTHEYEAR2025. He absolutely loved them. I was super happy with this purchase because the quality of the boot is exceptional. There was no skimping on the materials used to make this boot. I thought the color might be too dark, but in person, it just the right shade of brown and looks very well polished. I was worried it might look orange but it was nowhere close to that. It’s the perfect shade of brown you’d expect to see on a man’s boot. Their functionality was as expected; doing its job of protecting the feet while say cleaning up the backyard of brush and walking back and forth. The material thickness, in my opinion, was a good amount. Not to thick, but not too thin. The weather in my area can get pretty hot, and even though it was winter when I bought them, the weather was still above 75 degrees. So these boots made them a good fit by keeping feet warm but not sweaty. My son has wide feet and I considered getting the wide shoes bc they come in both regular and wide; but I opted for the regular. He said they fit comfortable, as some shoes are tight around the ball of the feet (bottom of foot underneath the toes). So if you’re trying to decide on which ones, I’d try the regular ones first. Plus the leather will conform to your feet once you break them in. They didn’t seem chemically or plastic-y, they did smell like a good quality leather, but not overwhelming. He has flat feet and usually complains about his feet hurting with other shoes that have no arch support, but he’s been wearing these everyday and I haven’t heard one complaint. These are budget-friendly boots that are waterproof and are soft and composite toe versions. They are comfortable with a short break-in period and provide excellent value for their price, My husband loves them.

I have used these boots for 3 years now and I will not use any other ones. I work mostly on hard surfaces like asphalt and concrete and my feet don’t hurt at the end of the day like they would with other boots I have used in the past. The quality of these boots is awesome, I put them through a lot and they have never ripped, torn nor has the stitching start to unstitch. I bought these to look good, feel good, and hold up. And boy, did they. I'm not requiring performance beyond the aforementioned criteria, so I cannot speak to how they hold up to rigorous use. But, come Fall, these are virtually the only things I wear outside of going to the gym, and I get compliments on them all the time. I put an insert in for my high arches, but they are very comfortable and have worn well over a year. Love love love. ... show more

These run narrow, despite what everyone else says. I don't know if true to size would work. I used their measuring tool on their website, I was sized as a 8.5 ee. Normally I wear 9 for sneakers. When I received these boots, the 8.5ee was still too tight in the toe box. I didn't want to go up to a 9 ee, as the heel was already a little loose in the 8.5ee. It seemed comfortable enough as work boots, but as someone with wide feet (measured at 8.5/9 e), these boots did not work for me. The reason for writing this review is to caution other buyers with wide feet to seriously consider going with a wide size, and not going true to size like many others suggest. I wanted to wear these boots but unfortunately the style just does not work for me. ... show more
