The clip locks are the weak link of using these, they’re easy to break until you realize you don’t pull down on the clips like other designs, you gently pull up with your fingers from underneath, then they lock into place and don’t move. Still, a few have broken. I contacted customer service in the USA, they wrote back immediately asking for a photo of an emblem on the bottom which tells them which state in the USA the tubs were manufactured in, asked no other questions and sent me a pack of 12 clip locks! Made in USA, USA personable customer service, fantastic. I thought the tubs were a little bit expensive at first, but now - I’ll gladly pay a little extra to support responsive domestic customer service and manufacturing. They even sent a follow up email to ask if everything was ok when I was offline for a few days. For plastic tubs. That’s cool. ... show more

definitely recommend these !! pros: they can fit a lot, theyre discrete, and transparent enough to remind you whats inside but opaque enough that it hides the items from others well cons: not meant for heavy items since these bins would be exposed, i was looking for something that would be pleasant to look at while still being sturdy and these fit the bill !! theyre not fully transparent which ive come to really appreciate. i was initially searching for something that would hide what was inside entirely but this provided an unexpected utility: being able to tell whats inside without it being on full display. since colors and vague shapes still seep through, im able to remember whats inside each container and thats been incredibly helpful !! AND it still hides whats there enough that they dont make the place look messy (espeically with how i threw everything in them....oopsie!) or show whats in them. i also like that theyre neutral enough that theyre discrete. a lot of the storage bins i was seeing were brightly colored and industrial looking which is understandable but mine were going to be visible in my bedroom, so i wanted them to blend in. aesthetics aside, they hold a lot of my school supplies and my tech well but they definitely have their limit (gotta relate to that one). i know paper is HEAVY in large amounts but i could only fill a bin up halfway with my note and sketchbooks when it started to bend slightly. would estimate that they can handle about 10-15 pounds before bending, so i wouldnt put anything too hefty in these. i suspect they wouldnt be great for garage storage but theyve been EXCELLENT for bedroom (and most likely hallway) storage so far. theyre wonderful for the price !! ... show more
