I purchased the first playpen 6 years ago for a new puppy. It was wonderful, it looks good (still, after 6 years) altho I no longer use it as a playpen, it is great shape and has held up perfectly, no cracking or fading, no disintegration, etc. I am super pleased with the quality of this Made in the the USA product. This year, I wanted to keep my dogs out of my garden while I was gone, but I didn't want permanent fencing or gates. I had the original playpen, that can also be used as a fence, (sort of) without permanently attaching it. But it wasn't quite long enough, so I ordered another that is EXACTLY the same as the original!! I love that!! So, I connected the two, which I must say lined up perfectly and created the fence to keep the dogs from my garden. I was so happy to be able to do this with minimal cost, compared to permanent fencing. The only downside of this product is you have to disassemble every other panel for it to fold and put away... otherwise there is no real problems with any aspect of this playpen or in my case, fence. When I received the playpen, two of the end caps on the connecting rods were broken. I contacted IRIS USA re: replacement on friday, 2 business days ago, they have already responded, apologized, and are going to replace the 2 end caps. Within a week, I not only had the replacement caps, but they also sent extra connecting rods with ends attached. You couldn't ask for better or faster customer service. Thanks Rebecca. Bought this to enclose our new puppy. Very easy to put up in minutes and kept her secure inside and safe from harm if we had to leave her at home for a bit. We didn't worry about her getting out. It's very secure for a small breed dog. Not sure about a large one. Anyhow, we orderef 12 additional panels to make a dog run outside. Wish the attachments sticks were longer to put into the ground. ... show more

Very versatile to use as an enclosure or separate to gate off doors and walkways. Tall enough my 5 month old terrier puppy couldn't jump over it, which was the reason for purchase. i got the white 8 panel playpen for my dog. i might and buy the extra 2 panel so that she has more space! she does have a pretty huge bed that takes up half of her playpen. the color white goes with everything in my room! pretty easy to assemble. the only thing is like other playpens it’s not great for indoors. my dog can basically move the whole thing while being inside. other than that it’s great! ... show more

I had previously purchased a shorter play pen, but my dog learned how to jump over it to get out. I wanted a taller version so this item fit my needs. Most of the tall play pens have a raised area at the gated entrance for taller dogs. Sadly, that area would catch on the little boy parts of my Basset Hound, so they wouldn't work. Although my puppy has short legs, his body is over 3 feet long so he has REACH! I love the gate on this play pen because it goes down to pretty much ground level. I gave it four stars because I have two things I'm not happy with... My biggest complaint is the latching mechanism on the gate. My dog has figured out how to charge the gate with his nose to pop the latch. Yes, I tighten the thumb screws on the latches, but in about half hour, he's out of the pen. I'm currently using Velcro fastening tapes to try to stop the escape attempts. So far, that's working. Fingers crossed! The other complaint is the assembly required to attach the gate to the panel. The instructions are NOT super clear. It would be helpful if some, or all, pieces were pre assembled for the price paid. I'm handy, so I was able to do it, but it was a pain! Also the tiny little feet for the bottom of each panel should come already on the panels for that price, as well. The pointy end part on each of the white poles comes loose easily. I was worried about my puppy eating one so I just removed them all. They should probably be glued on at the factory... I bought two sets so I have six panels I'm using as a night time crate and the other ten panels are used as a day time play pen when I am not watching him. Also, for what it's worth, you cannot fold it up fully or mostly assembled. You can leave two panels together and stack them that way. ... show more
