I wear my Garmin Vivoactive 4 smartwatch 24/7. The Gorilla Glass III crystal will inevitably get scratched and a screen protector is critical for longevity and aesthetics. Since its watch glass profile is not flat, the only option is a flexible, formable TPU screen protector. I have used several on my older phones and, while needing replacement after extended use, they do a great job. Tempered glass would be perfect, but not possible on curved glass. I ordered this IQShield Screen Protector based on the predominantly favorable reviews and I’ve not been disappointed. . I watched a YT video from IQShield on the installation process and this is a wet installation, using a supplied soapy solution. I used to apply my phone protectors this way, even though they were designed for a dry install. The liquid allows for easy repositioning of the plastic film and seems to help enormously with eliminating bubbles and trapped dust. . The film does tend to slide around a lot while using the supplied foam squeegee to press out the liquid but as it starts to stick, you still can reposition the film to achieve perfect, centered placement. I found that the curved edges didn’t need more than a single press-down to conform to the crystal and I was impressed with how easy the application was, and the installation in general. Within just a few minutes the job was done. I did leave the watch on a table for about 8 hours to completely dry before using it. I don’t believe I really needed to do that but wanted to do the job right. . Other than a very slight orange peel appearance when looking VERY closely at the film, it’s like there isn’t one there at all. No change to functionality of the touch screen but there is a little more friction as you pass your fingertip over the film. With another 5 in the pack, this kit will last the life of the watch without doubt and represents excellent value at $9.95. . The next day, I was working outside and my watch caught a glancing blow on the side of my aluminum ladder. The only mark I noticed was around the edge of the protector - a very small scuff on the curved edge. The smart watch itself is fine. The next day, after a shower, the scuff seemed less noticeable. so i was looking up and down for a screen protector, and finally decided on this. I had to re-apply it for the second time because of the edge not fully going down, which made me think that I had put it on too far off. Re-applying it caused more bubbles to show and made me realize that it is slightly a bit bigger than the screen which is pushing it to not stay down. Honestly, could be user error- who knows. This is my first screen protector on my watch. Instructions are easy to follow and straight forward. It covers and stays down for 97% of the watch face and that’s better than nothing. This is a great screen protector for my Garmin Vivoactive 5! It actually hides some scratches it had before I put the cover on. You get 6 screen protectors (plenty of tries AND they'll send you more if you mess up) It formed to the curved edge impressively well. The sensitivity seems basicly unaffected by the protector. There isn't any abnormal/weird glare either. Overall it's great for the price, especially since you get a lifetime warranty that INCLUDES installation errors. ... show more

These screen protectors are awesome. I am on my 2nd Vivoactive and I noticed on my first one the face got banged up REALLY badly. For my new one, I immediately invested in these screen protectors and they have been an excellent bargain and value. I have saved my watch face from numerous scratches, dents, and dings (honestly never reqalized how clumsy I am at banging my wrist into things). The application is really easy and they give you all the necessary items to apply the protector and have it work. If you want to protect the face of your watch, you won't do better than these. This TPU screen protector fit on my Forerunner 265 absolutely perfectly and goes all the way to the edge of the screen! It's been on for a month with heavy use and hasn't moved or come off. I've had a kettle bell press against the screen making a dent/line in the screen protector, but it self healed and now looks like new again! I've been using IQShield's TPU screen protectors on my phones for years ever since the Pixel 2 came out. They have always made excellent screen protectors, with easy to use wet application method, but this is the first time I've used it on a watch that has a curved screen and I'm really impressed. They've done an awesome job on this one. Just follow their instructions completely. Tips: When you squeegee the liquid away, do it lightly with the microfiber cloth wrapped around the squeege to absorb the liquid but also so it doesn't rub on the TPU too hard which may shift it out of place before it sets. Once most of the liquid is gone, then you can go a bit harder (I still keep the microfiber on the squeegee to help it slide a bit better off the screen). The heating/warming of the screen with the protector on is an essential part of the process for me afterwards. I usually warm my hands and just lightly hold it down while watching a movie. Then I don't touch it for a day. Never fails, no bubbles, no moving! A small price to pay in order to protect an expensive watch! I don't waste my money experimenting with other brands, and always just go with IQshield. They have never let me down! ... show more

Works, but I had to cut it down to size. They don't make the size I need. The process of putting the protector on (minus cutting it down to size) is a little long but works. The directions walk you through step by step. It does work to protect the watch face and still allows solar charging.
