If you want a pencil that works just as well as the regular iPad pencil and don't need it to register if you are using more of less pressure and don't want to have to buy an actual Apple pencil, I can 100% recommend this pencil. I had bought this for my iPad Pro but as it doesn't register different pressure the way I needed it to, I gave it to my daughter and it works perfectly for her. It holds a charge for hours of continual use before it needs to be charged. When it does need to be charged it does so quickly. If you have a case that doesn't allow the pen to magnetize to the iPad you may want to either rethink your case or find a way to attach the pen to the case. This pen comes with a small magnetic charger that plugs in and is easy to use. For some reason it feels like it charges a bit slower than if connected to the iPad itself but it isn't a big issue honestly. ... show more

I watched UTube videos and most were for the first model that says you don’t need blue tooth. This does require being hooked up to blue tooth. It does not come with a charging cable and charges magnetically against the iPad I love the idea of not having to plug in another device. It works well.

I intentionally used it for a few days before writing this review. The handwriting function is smooth and without delay during regular input. I was quite excited when I received it and immediately tried it out. Bluetooth connection is very simple, and it’s convenient to turn it on and off. The connection is also very fast. The original one I looked at cost hundred which I couldn’t bear. But this price is really cost-effective. The feel is also very good, almost no different from a real apple pencil . I haven’t experimented with long-term studying (because I’m lazy during the holidays), but I think it’s very good (the feel is quite nice when making study notes). ... show more

Mainly use it for digital planners. The pen magnetically charges & connects to my iPad mini without issue. Can be awkward to grip because of the smoothness and have had occasional issues with palm rejection not working. Overall, a good purchase for the price and I would by again if needed.

This of course can’t fully replace the Apple Pencil, however, it’s a very affordable alternative and it gets the job done. For this price point it’s actually really good, it has a really nice matte feel. It feels better in my hand than the actually Apple Pencil, though it is skinnier which people with large hands might not like. I have the paperlike screen protector and this pencil feels more like a real pencil than the Apple Pencil. The battery life is amazing because of the auto shutoff, I actually haven’t charged it yet and I use it almost every day. I’d say they’re pretty comparable actually. And it came with extra tips! I had to pay for extra tips for my Apple Pencil, so there’s an A+ right there! ... show more

The apple pencil dupe that I received was very high quality. It sits nicely in your hands, and I was easily able to replace the tip with a ballpoint pen apple pencil tip. It connected quickly and charges easily via the magnetic strip on my iPad. The shortcut buttons are also very helpful. Where I experienced trouble was with the included charging dock. As soon as I plugged it into my desktop, my iMac prompted me to remove it because it was drawing too much power. This happened immediately. So I removed it from the computer and plugged it into a charging bank. It immediately grew hot to the touch, and I could smell burning. This all happened within the space of two minutes. As you can see, the charging dock began to melt due to the extreme power coming through the charging dock. The scent of burnt wires is still permeating my office ten minutes later as I write this review. So, as long as the pencil can be charged via the iPad, it's a great buy, but I'd caution against using the charging. I could have received a lemon, but considering how quickly this charging device failed, I wouldn't risk plugging it into any technology you can't afford to have short out. ... show more
