I have a 12yo lab with arthritis. Wanted a THICK, dense ortho pillow for her. Bed looks thicker in the photo but it is working for us. I just put a second flat dog bed under it. Sides aren't as sturdy as I'd like, but the base cushion seems to be holding us so far. I have 2 senior dogs (16+yrs) that need extra comfort. They love this bed. They are both blind now, so the sides help keep them on the bed. It's so soft and warm. I got the gray, and it's such a beautiful color, but the most important thing is how my boys like it. And they love it.

I bought the large bed for my dog because the price was very reasonable. My 1 yr old 60lb dog had chewed his old bed and ended up in bed with me since. I was given another dog bed that was flat. He never used it. I never git him a new bed because I figured he wouldn’t use it or he’d chew it up. This bed was a deal and I went for it. We just had night 1 and he crawled in it at bedtime and slept there all night! It’s soft and fluffy. It gives a “snuggling” feeling for him with the higher sides too. Recommend!! It's a little flimsy, it is not a piece of foam holding up the sides. I got the large, maybe the smaller ones are better? the bottom is thin, so I'm getting a pad for under. Spend a few extra bucks and get a better one. I ended up getting a Casper Bed.
