This television was such a good deal and a fantastic value for the money. The integrated tv rendered all of my old devices and sticks obsolete. It’s very easy to set up with your phone and Alexa. The sound quality is impressive and the picture was about what I expected. Some very old productions and standard definition programs look strange or shadowy but this is common with all scaling and this tv is fine. The connectivity is great. I swear it looks huge for a 55 inch. It has legs so you don’t have to mount it. I prefer a horizontal footing because it’s easier to find stands for but these legs definitely give it a lot of stability. Overall this is a very high quality and highly functional item. If this holds up long term I may never buy a different brand again. ... show more

TV was really easy to set up. Most delicate part was attaching the legs, but it was easy enough with a Phillips screwdriver. The picture quality is great. Highly recommend for the price.

I bought this tv about a year ago and I think it’s great. I spent a long time researching which TV I wanted and I’m still very happy with my decision. I even bought the smaller one afterwards to replace the one in my bedroom. The sound and picture quality is amazing. I’ve had several family members comment on how great the image quality is and they’re shocked when I tell them the price. It has exceeded expectations. It’s super easy to navigate as well. If I had to find one complaint it’s that it is a bit laggy as soon as it’s turned on but that goes away after about 20 seconds so not a very big deal just a little annoying. I mainly use it for streaming and watching sports and it’s well worth the price. Overall, I highly recommend if you’re in the market for a new TV. ... show more

I've owned the 43 inch fire tv now for over 2 years and I've been overall very pleased with it for the price. The picture is vibrant and beautiful, and it has pretty decent features , I use the sleep timer nightly. As with most flat screen tv's an area where it lacks is in the audio. It sounds fine for what it is but for me the volume what a bit low depending on the source. On YouTube the volume can be quite adequate depending on the video but on regular apps like Netflix, hulu, fandango and Amazon you might want to boost it up with a nice speaker system or sound bar. I happened to already have a small speaker system with a sub woofer used for a TV, game system, or pc and it works perfectly in my case. The only other thing that's a downside and something I find quite annoying honestly is that it has built in firetv software but it is very much lacking in the memory department. It gets achingly slow sometimes and I've done everything I've seen on videos to speed it up. I would say if I did it again I might buy a separate streaming system that I had more control over the memory. If Amazon would double the size of the memory or at the very least make it expandable so that it ran fast and smooth without slowing down and bogging down I'd be very happy. Now let me be clear here.. The movies and TV shows play perfectly the slowness and bogging down I'm referring to is the menu and apps. Other than those couple of minor things, I think it is a great tv for the price. ... show more

Very easy to set up. Zero cosmetic flaws. QR codes logged me in to apps quickly. Purchased sound bar with the TV. What happened: Played YouTube to test sound. This was through the ARC COAX. Sound is stellar. Checked the TV sound. It worked fine. Went to Netflix as well as Prime Video. The audio WOULDN'T WORK! I tried Bluetooth on the sound system and it works. The media could not be loaded. I purchased the 43” Amazon Fire Smart TV. I am, absolutely, impressed by the picture, the remote, the Bluetooth connectivity to my Bose Headphones. The ease of setting up the TV to my WiFi etc. The sound quality of my Bose headphones was incredible. The picture is awe inspiring. The ease of using the remote to find channels through an antenna was great. The ease of setting up your favorite and purchased apps was outstanding. The remote is easy to use for changing the picture, sound quality etc. I’m, absolutely, happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a Smart TV with Bluetooth capability, free channels through an antenna and Apps to stream your favorite shows.
