The barn I board at over the winter generally uses hay twine on the stalls to hold your blankets. I wanted something that looks a lot nicer. After searching for quite some time I couldn't find anything that could easily be placed over a stall without securing it with screws considering that wasn't an option at the barn I was boarding at. I finally came across this product and I just love it! It works perfect, the bar extends/shrinks to virtually any size and even when extended it doesn't become weak and easily holds the weight of the blanket. The extra hooks also work well for holding virtually anything. I hang my halter, grooming tote, and treat bag from them and everything is conveniently located right there for when I need it! ... show more

The bar looks like it will be great for horse shows. Love the extra storage for bridles and halters. My only complaint is that it came scratched up. The packaging was not damaged so I'm not sure why the bar has 2 areas where the black coating is scratched off but that is a little disappointing. Anxious to use it at our next show! ... show more

I searched high and low for a blanket bar you could hang over the stall door as I cannot "install" oone at my boarding barn. This bar is even cooler than I expected! When it says it changes length, its not like some crappy curtain rod, it actually locks in place every 2" or so. It is super sturdy and fits the door perfectly! I LOVE this item and all my barn buddies want one for their stalls too! ANd it holds like all his rambos and blankets neatly and no problem plus hags his halter and whatever else I want. Perfect for what I needed, all my stall doors are different sizes so the adjustment option was great. They were a little wider than the top boards on my stalls but had no issues with them falling off or moving around too much.
