So far so good! Just got this little loveable thing as a gift, meant to help me sleep. Not sure what happened with shipping. I have Prime so it was supposed to arrive within the week, but four or five days passed and it never shipped. Shipping got pushed from the 17th to the 29th, and then back to around the 23rd. Impatience aside (can you really blame me? This thing is adorable), it arrived save and sound! I opened my mail locker and could immediately smell the lavender (it had been sitting there for four days while I was away). The product is just as pictured! I was worried I wouldn't like how small it is but I actually love how it sits on my chest or back. The smell isn't incredibly overwhelming and doesn't smell horrible when you warm it up. It's like a dream come true When you warm it up the animal is a little 'sweaty', this is the essential oils (as far as I can tell). This could be something you dislike, but I actually like that it releases some of it that way it almost sticks to my clothes for when I let go of the manatee while I sleep. Side note, this 'sweating' doesn't give a weird texture to the fur, it stays just as soft (and boy is it soft!). I saw quite a few reviews about the seeds for stuffing, I've not had a problem as of yet. I've not been stabbed and I've not had any come out. I actually like the stuffing, the way it moves and prevents that burnt smell that plastic beads give off. We will see on a later date. ... show more

I have gotten almost every single “sea” animal & I must say, this fella is probably my first favorite coming in 2nd w/ the Turtle & 3rd the Shark! Honestly though, you just can’t go wrong with any of these extremely comforting, warming & even cooling relief buddies. Last but not least besides the other ones mentioned (Penguin & Sloth) they ALL have a lovely lavender scent. Not strong, not dull except just right. I only notice the lavender slightly more when warmed in the microwave as instructed by Warmies. I’ve warned this one up more so primarily whether it’s from pain (I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome) so anymore tends to feel more therapeutic than “cold” BUT ALSO; I have my moments when without warming it up, just having the Manatee itself near me helps calm my anxiety. I could go on and on about why you should get one BUT I won’t and I’ll go ahead & say it now: GO PURCHASE THIS ONE OR WHICHEVER ONE THAT CATCHES YOUR EYE! (In my opinion, the flatter ones like the Manatee, Turtle, Platty, Alligator, etc are the best ones. They simply even out more vs the sitting/standing up one’s like the sloth and penguin, etc. I’m guilty having the sloth as it was my first one so I didn’t know exactly how it would sit & as the Penguin goes; he’s a bit of both. That’s just my opinion though lol. Regardless, you will NOT regret whichever adorable Warmie you buy!!! :) ... show more

I bought this for my daughter, and she absolutely loves it! She sleeps with it every night and it makes her feel relaxed. It is also a big help whenever she has a stomachache [we warm it up in the microwave]. It has become her favorite toy! It lost a bit of fragrance over time, but it still has a lavender smell. Buy one! You won't regret it! I bought this to use for a shoulder injury. It works great and it's adorable. It's so soft!! For people saying it doesn't get warm enough, you can warm it plenty. But, you have to do it in 30 second or 1 minute increments. I heat it in the microwave for 1 minute, take it out give it a shake to move the filling around, put it back in the microwave for another 30 seconds and test for warmth. You get it quite warm/hot doing this. I absolutely love it! It's perfect for an injury or just to warm up on a chilly day. I wish I had found this when I was still finishing my degree and would spend hours researching and typing with freezing cold hands!     • My new therapy stuffed animal
I really love how much weight it has and it is with me while in bed all the time. I like to use it as a pillow or put it on my chest for comfort. It has provided more comfort than I expected and it has helped me a lot with sleeping and relaxing. It is also bigger and better stuffed than I expected and has more weight than expected, which I love! Be sure to check the dimensions to make sure its right for you. The only two issues I had were that it came without any packaging, apart from a tag, I expected it to come in a box or bag with the company on it but it was loose in my amazon package. I also had some of the lavender pieces poke through the fabric and are a bit sharp. But I only had this happen twice and it was not that big of an issue. I only wish this were cheaper for its size but the amount of comfort it has given me was worth it. I also got this on sale for closer to $20 instead of $30. ... show more
