I think I had higher expectations than I should have. While it turns and has the components of a pottery wheel, the turntable itself is stopped easily with very little pressure making it hard to really shape anything. You pretty much have to shape the clay before you put it on there.

My daughter received this as a Christmas present but she just decided to use last week . It doesn't turn on ! We try multiple new batteries and it doesn't work . The return window is closed so we are very disappointed in this product that we are unable to use.

I purchased this Insnug Pottery Wheel Art Craft Kit with Polymer Air Dry Clay for our granddaughter for Christmas. It comes with everything stated on the components list; pottery wheel, 2-pack air-dry clay, sponge, color set, palette for mixing, carving tool, carving stand, tangent, dotting pen, gem stickers, table cover, screwer. What it did not come with that I did not realize is three "C" batteries, so you will need to order these as well. Luckily, I have time to order before Christmas. That is a size I don't usually have around. Our granddaughter is 6 and this is good for her age (with adult help). This looks like it's going to be a lot of fun! ... show more
