INSL-X Prime All Multi-Surface Primer is a 100% acrylic interior and exterior primer designed for multiple surfaces. It provides powerful stain blocking and is also mildew resistant, containing agents that inhibit the growth of mildew on the surface of the paint film. This economical primer seals most common stains, it dries quickly and can be top-coated in just one hour

4.5 stars. The paint works well. I can't report yet on longevity. The packaging is excellent in its own box and the protective plastic ring. The written directions for the plastic ring seem confusing in step 2. The little metal tool that comes with it can be used just like a bottle cap opener on one end. If so much thought has gone into the packaging, then why not form the plastic ring to use as a funnel to pour it while preventing paint from going into the ring for the metal lid. Just making the inside diameter of the plastic ring a little smaller would help. This is a good product. ... show more

I ordered this product to use before I used the expensive paint which I could have gotten cheaper had I just ordered this primer and regular paint. This was an okay purchase. If it wasn't 105 degrees outside the day I ordered, I would've run down the street to the paint store (I don't have air conditioning in my car). since I have Prime, I got it overnight. As others have said, there is a pretty strong smell, had to open the windows, and it does have some stickiness to it after drying which is a little odd. ... show more

Tried this because my normal go to Kiltz was not covering the bare wood baseboards after 3 coats! This covered it in one but I did 2 coats to make certain my old eyes weren’t seeing things.
