This is the 6th bouncy toy I have gotten. The kids love them, but always fight over them so I keep adding on to the collection. They bounce them around (some times falling off) but they love it. My 2 yr old grandson loves this bouncy hippo - and so do his 6 and 8 yr old sisters even if they are too big for it! It's made of soft squishy silicone in a cute blue hippo shape. He especially liked grabbing the ears and holding onto them. It's a perfect size for a 2 yr old and he can either just sit on it or "ride" it around the room by bouncing on it. I ordered this bouncy Lion for use by 2 year olds and it's a big hit! It's easy for them to climb onto and get off - not too wide or high and it remained fairly stable as they got off/on due to a wide base between the short legs of the bouncy. This isn't really the type of bouncy that a child would use to travel a distance; rather, it's more of a bounce in place in an up and down motion. It will move around your space a bit while they do this, but it's not like they grab on and take off down the hallway with it (and that was ok for me!). This Lion bouncy is visually attractive in a bright orange color with nice facial features, a mane, ears, and a cute tail. It comes with a plug already installed in the air hole but also provides an extra plug, a pronged tool to help lift out the plug, and a hand air pump. There are no instructions on or in the box but you simply remove the pre-installed air plug, place the yellow tip of the air pump into the air hole, and give it about 60 pumps to fill (pull up/down on the blue tube to pump the air). Quickly reinsert the air plug after removing the tip of the air pump. The Lion's back is about 12 inches off the ground, making it easy to mount. The mane and ears provide something for little hands to grip while they are bouncing. The box says 100 lbs (45 kg) max weight so a variety of ages and sizes of children can have fun playing on this bouncy. The product is advertised for indoor or outdoor use. The vinyl is quite thick but I would be careful about using it on rough concrete or in an area that could have sticks or thorns to avoid puncture. If I were a classroom teacher or in a daycare center, I would have several of these in my classroom as a means for children who can't sit still to burn off some energy. It doesn't take up a lot of space since you could stack them against a wall, and it's at a price point that makes it a great value as alternative classroom seating. The box reflects there are a multitude of bouncy products from this manufacturer in various shapes and colors and I would love to add several more to my own home for the twins to have fun with!
