Received this worktable today and put it together relatively fast following the large, well-thought-out assembly instructions. This item was very well packaged for shipping, and I detected nothing damaged or missing. So far very impressive coming from China. I plugged in the electrical attachments for raising and lowering the top -- also very impressive, and quiet. There are no desk drawers included in this model, but that was obvious from the pictures included online, so not really a con. I will be using this worktop table at first in my garage making a custom windshield for my motorcycle. After that, I'm not sure where its going, but it is nice looking enough to put in any room in the house. Maybe the best feature is the low price for an adjustable height rubberwood desk/work table. Amazing desk for a great price!! Love the color. Sturdy materials. And I usually avoid Amazon for furniture cause it usually feels cheap but this desk feels sturdy and durable would buy again. Great quality for the price and the color is so aesthetically pleasing. I’ve had no problems with the adjustable height and was able to put it together myself in about an hour. There was a very small scratch that it came with that I show in the pictures, and the up and down adjustable piece was supposed to be white (as shown in the product photos when I purchased it) but it came black. When it arrived the desktop was damaged. Amazon quickly sent a replacement but that desktop was also damaged. I am reluctant to purchase another replacement, but I really like the desk. I wish Amazon would just send a replacement desktop which has been inspected by quality control.

Update: I had some concerns with the wood on this desk. The customer service team reached out to me and let me know that it is in fact real wood that is painted so when it gets dinged, to original wood color shows through. We worked together to find a solution and I am very pleased with the experience that I had with their team. They were quick to reach out to me to resolve the issue. Overall, for the customer service experience alone I would recommend this desk. My main recommendation to this company would be to search for a slightly more durable paint, and possibly even include a cable management system with the desk. Other than that, I love the mechanism to raise the desk. Very comfortable! Thank you again for all of the help :) Original review: I’ve had this desk for only 1 week and take great care of my possessions. As you can see, I am a neat freak and want all of my possessions to be in great condition. This desk top already has 4 chips in the edge of it. This is not surprising since it is a laminate top and not real wood. You can see the difference in color between the printed image on the top and the edge pieces. Another disadvantage to this desk is that it has no form of cable management and you need to purchase your own. For a laminate desk at this price point I would like some kind of cable management. Over all, it’s a fair desk. I wish it was closer to 30 inches. I wish the quality of the wood was better. I wish that it was a bit thicker so that you won’t drill through it when attaching your cable management. Knowing what I know now, I would have most likely purchased a different desk. What I do like is the metal pieces that are placed in the wood already upon delivery that makes attaching the legs very easy without having to drill into the top. I also like the physical tactile buttons for raising and lowering the desk. I’m also extremely disappointed that this desk went on sale for an additional $10 off and they would not send me a credit for that additional $10 without shipping this desk back. It would cost $6 to ship it back. So it only gives me $4 to ship this back. I might do it just based on principle. ... show more

Customer service team was quick and attentive with addressing any questions I had regarding the desk. The tabletop is made of real wood and the desk remains quite sturdy even on carpeted flooring. The buttons are already preset with heights so you won't be able to customize the heights but you can navigate up/down on the controller if need be.
