The great peppermint smell of this scrub is invigorating. It cleans my scalp brilliantly and a little goes a long way. I use it in conjunction with the Innersense charcoal detox mask, adding/using this scrub after the mask has been on for a while, and then rinsing both out.

    • What a difference after one treatment!
I purchased this as part of a regimen to combat some serious hair shedding I am experiencing. I think it has to do with having had Covid, but whatever the reason I am trying to get it to stop...or at least slow down! I used this for the first time today. I looked for specific treatment directions on the packaging and all it said was that it was a pretreatment before cleansing the hair. I applied it, making1 inch sections or so, all over my scalp. I left it on approximately 30 minutes. I rinsed it out, washed my hair with Innersense Hairbath and conditoned with Innersense conditioner. Holy moly, my hair has so much body and lift at the root! Who knew there was so much (of whatever) up there weighing everything down. I still had a handful of hair that came out, but I'm hoping as I move forward it will be less and less. For now I am ecstatic! (I also used the Innersense Leave in Conditioner and the Innersense "I Create Shine" Glossing Serum. My hair is so soft right now! Love love love!!) ... show more

I currently use their shampoo because I’m trying to go on a cleaner route, and I’m so glad I bought the scalp scrub, you feel so ridiculously clean after you use it definitely will be buying again

My scalp gets super itchy even after shampooing my locs. Locs usually do not need lots of a product because easy build up can happen, so I avoid conditioner and putting too much product on my hair ( I get lots of dandruff unfortunately). This makes my scalp feel fresh and invigorating. I don’t scratch my scalp as much after using this after shampooing. Highly recommend especially if you have an itchy dry scalp! ... show more

My scalp has been itchy. This is strong, and tingly, and has made my scalp feel better and cool. Don’t get it in your eyes. It’s so minty it burns. It is gritty and you have to work hard to get it on your scalp if you have a lot of hair. Overall, I’ve have enjoyed it.

I have had dry skin my entire life, lotion and exfoliating is a daily basis for me. I never and thought that I needed to exfoliate my scalp, but let me tell you what….this stuff is amazing. I have tried all the dandruff shampoos, that never worked because it wasn’t dandruff, just dry skin. Love Innersense products. ... show more
