  • Works with Nintendo Switch
Color: Inkling Girl Edition: USA
Splatoon character, we got this for my husband’s baby sister. She loves it and she is playing the game on Nintendo Switch. She said this product works with her Nintendo. I am not sure how but apparently it is compatible :)

  • Unlock Challenge Maps
Color: Inkling Girl Edition: USA
Unlike most amiibo figures that just unlocks cosmetic items in-game or provide ghost data, Inking Girl actually unlock full fledged challenges in the game (Splatoon). All levels are the same you played before in the single player campaign but it focuses around the charge shot weapon; playing through them will help you be more proficient with that type of weapon and will reward you with a Hero Charger (along with other unlocks) upon completion. The levels dubbed Hero Mode challenges nets you the following: Level 1: Octotrooper Hideout - Reward: 600 coins Level 2: Lair of the Octoballs - Reward: 700 coins Level 3: Rise of the Octocopters - Reward: 800 coins Level 5: Floating Sponge Garden - Reward: 900 coins Level 6: Propeller-Lift Playground - Reward: 1000 coins Level 7: Spreader Splatfest - Reward: 1100 coins Level 13: Shifting Splatforms - Reward: 1200 coins Level 14: Octoling Assault - Reward: 1300 coins Level 15: Undeniable Flying Object - Reward: 1400 coins Level 16: Propeller-Lift Fortress - Reward: 1500 coins Level 17: Octosniper Ramparts - Reward: 1600 coins Level 20: Octoling Uprising - Reward: 1700 coins Level 23: Spongy Observatory - Reward: 1800 coins Level 25: Far-Flung Flooders - Reward: 1900 coins Level 27: Unavoidable Flying Object - Reward: 2000 coins Also for each boss, you unlock a unique item, weapon or mini-game that depends on the boss. Rewards are fairly balanced with the rest of the items/weapons in the game and sporting them online will not spread jealousy/envy to those who do not own the Amiibo. Rewards are as follows: The Mighty Octostomp - Reward: Squid Hairclip The Dreaded Octonozzle - Reward: School Uniform The Rampaging Octowhirl - Reward: School Shoes The Ravenous Octomaw - Reward: Squid Ball Enter the Octobot King - Reward: Hero Charger Replica Blueprints I've completed all challenges in an hour or two, may take you less time if you're more profient with the charger weapon (I'm more of a shooter/Sloshers type person) prior to doing the amiibo challenges. === The figure is also compatible with a lot of Nintendo games, but all of them at the moment (Except Spatooon) only deliver cosmetic changes to the game. Current compatible games are: amiibo tap: Nintendo's Greatest Bits Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker Chibi-Robo! Zip Lash Hyrule Warriors Mario Party 10 Mini Mario & Friends amiibo Challenge (Wii U and Nintendo 3DS) Splatoon Super Mario Maker Word Puzzles by POWGI (Wii U and Nintendo 3DS) Yoshi's Woolly World Very good build and design on Inkling girl as it looks very details from facial features to the ink pack carried on back. I like the detail the shoes as it shoes that it's very layered in the design. Since all of the challenge have you play with the hero charger, I have no idea why they have the Amiibo hold the Splattershot instead of the Hero Charger. Guess they went with it because the Splattershot is the main shooter weapon in the game. Would be cool if they had all 5 types of weapons with different inkling Amiibo figures holding each weapon type, intead they had the inkling girl focus on the charger, inkling boy on the roller and squid on the shooter. It's a typical size for an Amiibo and is able to stand on it's own without a prop to hold it up Also to initiate the challenge mode you have to go to the corner plaza with the amiibo box display, register your amiibo my tapping it on the gamepad and give it a nickname. Overall great buy if want to play extra challenge levels/get unlocks in Splatoon or a fan in Splatoon in general ... show more

  • Well made
Color: Inkling Boy Edition: USA
My Grandson is collecting these, and they are very nice. NOT flimsy plastic like other types of characters. They are well made and vibrant.

  • I was glad for that because this game is a must have
Color: Splatoon 3-pack Edition: USA
First off let me say that scalpers and thieves do no reflect on the product and it's purpose. However if you're lucky enough to find this 3 pack for msrp, get it otherwise you're stuck with two options. 1. Paying way to much for what these are worth. Sometimes even quadruple the cost. 2. Waiting for a long time for these to be re-released when they're no longer relevant. I was lucky and the vendor I found was only selling them for about 25 bucks or so above market price, I was glad for that because this game is a must have. I knew from the moment I've heard about this new IP that I wanted it and that I wanted the most playability I can get from Nintendo's newest shooter/ splat'em up. These guys unlock challenges (which you must complete single player campaign first) which you can earn coins and exclusive gear. Not only does this add replay value to the single player campaign when you're done, you get some neat gear to show off online. Boy inkling gives you samurai gear and a roller girl inkling gives you a private/japanese school uniform and a charge rifle. Kraken gives you robotic/cybernetic gear and the hero shot. Outside of that there isn't much else to these things outside of collecting them and looking neat. This is the first set of amiibos I've bought and I'm pretty impressed with the quality and looks of them. However, it'll probably be my only purchase of amiibos since these actually do something outside of just unlocking cosmetics or storing data for Smash Brothers 4. So in summery, if you're not an amiibo collector and have Splatoon, love Splatoon and want to get the most out of the game. Pick these up if you can find the right price. Otherwise you don't really need them to enjoy the game. However, they do add to it significantly. If you want to keep them looking nice, since i dont collect these.I ended up carefully cutting the side of the box open, removed the metal film and put them pack in. I really didn't want to throw away the box plus this keeps it tidy so I don't have them loose and getting banged up. So if you want to use them but can't afford two sets, it's a decent way to display them, with the box art, and still get functionality. ... show more

  • Amiibo box was severely damaged
Color: Splatoon 3-pack Edition: USA
When I opened the box the package came in the box with the amiibos was in awful condition. I have no idea why; the amiibos themselves are fine and none of them showed any damage except the green squid, but it looked like a factory error so I don't mind. I still love them, but if you want to purchase from this company be aware that the box keeping the amiibos safe could have wicked damage; the box wasn't taped up to repair it or anything. The only reasons I can see the box being like this is because they were possibly preused and put back into the box to make them look new, but I really have no clue. If they were used someone must have kept them on a shelf and never touched them, so I'm not too bothered by it. ... show more
