Somebody said something about the inscription being in silver and clashing with the gold hardware — but my bag clearly shows both are in gold. The bag arrived nicely packaged with the zipper pulls even covered in protective tape. The zippers work beautifully, BTW. This bag so closely resembles my large HeShe bag in style that I wonder if it’s by the same maker! So I now have a nice pair of different size matching purses I can switch out depending on my needs. I bought this to use on vacation. I kept it on me and It held my and my husband’s passports, had slots for my ID and credit cards and space for medication. It was the perfect accessory since we got stranded in the airport and had to spend the night in a hotel with no luggage after a flight change. The plastic phone pouch worked great! The only con was that it is kind of hard getting my IPhone 10 in and out of the plastic. I probably should have chosen a slightly larger one. Perfect for a day out at the festivals. Fits my phone, medication, couple credit cards and ID, chapstick, and other odds and ends I think I might need that day. Writing on the front is in silver. Clasp that holds the strap on swivels and is harder to open than I expected . Divider between two zippered sections is just velcrowed in so I can see where items might find their way in a different pocket than you put them in. Inside lining is cheap and rough satin feeling but outside is soft. Purse lays wonderfully against the body right where you want it to. Zippers are metal and pulls come wrapped to protect from damage but mine already had a couple bubbles from a poor coating. The "leather" color isn't a bright yellow but a pretty fall orange brown yellow with a very nice texture.
