We purchased this doghouse to feed feral cats and to protect the automatic feeder from the elements. The large size and the hinged roof make it easy to fill the feeder. The wood smells and looks good, and it was fairly easy to assemble. I suppose one person could put this doghouse together, but it was much easier with two people. I was disappointed in this doghouse for a couple reasons, first it is not big as advertised. It's 38 inches when it was advertised as 43 inches. Also it took much longer then 30 minutes, as well as it's not balanced. It tips when my dog goes in it. I'm more upset with the size because her dog bed doesn't even fit in it. I would recommend a different doghouse. Otherwise it's a cute house with a sliding window. ... show more
