This is a great little house for something. It went together in a snap, once I figured out you need to remove some filler pieces in the sides first. The directions don't tell you to do it, and they probably should, but hey, it isn't rocket science, so I'm not taking off for incomplete instructions. It's 6 pieces that snap together, very easily and build a nice little box with a door and a roof that lifts up. No tools or screws are necessary. I did it in minutes and I'm in my late seventies, so this is easy, really. I got it to go outside in a wooded area by our property that has several species, cats, coons, possums, etc. So we'll see what decides to live in it. It should be easy to clean, just lift the top and hose it out. There are handles in the side and it's very light, so would be nothing to carry it. The house is solid, no apparent cracks or drafts, but the front opening is not covered, so it's not totally weatherproof, but a lot more warmth and protection than nothing. Would be great for chickens in your backyard if you can have them. Nice product. ... show more

    • Solid construction, but saying this is for medium dogs is a bit of a stretch.
Pattern Name: Brown
Goes together in about 60 seconds. Find the base, snap on the front and back, then the sides and finally the top. The front piece had some warping which made it a bit fiddly to install. Once setup you can't see the part that was warped tho. The top lifts up for easy access inside for cleaning, but here too there was some warping. the bit of plastic that allows the top to pivot was at an angle, meaning it easily comes apart. Once assembled it feels sturdy and will hold up well to the elements. The reason for knocking a point off is that this isn't really a medium. My Shiba is considered a medium size, but this is just a tad too tiny. ... show more

I got this to put on my porch for the stray cats this winter, and I think it's gonna be perfect for that. This was super easy to put together and seems pretty dang sturdy for what it is. Thick, hard plastic panels that should protect the kitties from some of the worst of the wind. Pretty small, so I wouldn't use this for any dogs bigger than like 25-30ish lbs. ... show more

We have a little dog that likes to hide so we got this for him to feel safe in but it was kind of a pain to assemble. There are plastic pieces in the sides that need to be taken out and the bottom isn't symmetrical even if it looks like it. Hope your doggo likes it.

This dog house it quite large. It feel sturdy. Not the easiest to put together - not all parts fit perfect but with some force we made it work.
