I purchased this when I rescued a new puppy that was small (less than 5 lbs) and she doesnt tolerate sun well because of her white face and blue eyes. This is cute, a reasonable size, raised off the ground, protects her from sun and even rain (altho she doesn't stay out in the rain often). It was very easy to assemble. It is not particularly strong, but I think it is perfectly adequate for a small dog, say under 15 lbs. I would purchase this again - I like that it is light enough to move to where ever we are sitting around the deck or pool because the puppy wants to be close to us. ... show more
