    • Wheel spacers are to big
The spacers for the wheels are slightly to big so that both of the bearings can not seat down all the way into the wheel, so there is a small amount of play for the wheel to slide back and forth on the bearings. Other than that I am overall happy with the products that came with the set.

Size and density of the wheels did not match up with the shipped product in terms of their level of "hard or soft" Described as hard, the very soft wheels I received were a little bit of a dissapointment. I do not know the numer or other indicia for the arrived wheels, but they were probably 53s or something close, (smaller) very soft, which work for younger beginners. This package plus anything but a decent deck (I'd go with a commonly known brand and their 8+ inch decks) makes for a very good purchase. It's a good bridge between a Walmart special, and a "top level" set up. Swapped out the wheels, "tuned" the trucks (can't go wrong with Independent trucks), I felt like I had a great set up for a young daredevil. Great set up for beginners, amateurs, skate nerds or skate gods. I ultimately went with a different wheel but these seem decent quality. Just too small for My turf. I knew they were 52s when I ordered. Completely on me, not the seller. TGM Skateboards is a fantastic seller. Great products in this lot and excellent value. The trucks are what I remember 30 years ago. Independent is the industry standard in my opinion. They turn great and handle way more than what I can throw at them. Can't go wrong with independent trucks. The wheels are a little soft for my likes but that is just me. Wish the hardware was longer incase you want to go with a thicker spacer

Wheels seem softer than advertised, but that's fine for my needs. Trucks have a fairly soft rubber bushing, so best for adults or kids on the lighter end of the spectrum, or those that are simply used to a less stiff turning experience. Bearings are great so far, and hardware was decently manufactured with no poorly machined threads. A great deal if you have the deck. ... show more
