This dress fit as expected, perhaps a little tight across the chest. I'm smaller up top relative to my waist and hips so most dresses fit me looser in the chest. This one fits just right in the chest, so if you're more proportionate, you may find it too small. The material is a silky, almost shiny, polyester. It is light and flowy, and feels soft against my skin. It definitely doesn't breathe, but that's not too big a deal as we enter the fall and winter months. There are roomy side pockets, and the design of the dress integrates the pockets perfectly - nothing poofy or droopy here. The major "miss" of this dress is that the collar doesn't stand up in real life the way it does in the picture. The lightweight and soft, flowy fabric just isn't substantial enough to stay up no matter how much I fuss with it. It looks so smart and stylish in the images in the listing, and wish I could achieve that same look. I'm 5'4", 189, 40-37-46, and the hemline hits me at the knee. ... show more
