  • So far I'm a believer, can't beat the price/value
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1) Color: Small, Bleached White
I've had perfect teeth (albeit a bit tobacco/coffee stained) my entire life and somehow squeaked through my teens and then 20s without any major issues although drug problems came and went throughout my life in a vicious cycle..But finally, in my mid-30s my bad habits of all forms caught up to me and within a matter of 4 - 5yrs bye-bye upper fronts, and that's been so much more emotionally/mentally damaging than I could've ever imagined..i dont typically use terms like "emotional damage" or "mental health" because im a fully grown southern raised motorcycling wildman and i just dont find too many uses for such delicate words in my day to day life but I'm also someone who places comedy/laughter on my top 5 list of things needed to be happy in life so its a very serious matter to not be able to laugh in public without feeling humiliated or needing to cover my mouth with my hand..im a "social butterfly" (😆) who loved highschool and made/had as many friends as was possible so it's really bad for my well being to feel and need to hide away; plus as someone who's now in recovery it's not at all helpful to my sobriety to feel worthless, broken, or unrepairable..but anyhoo, that was my overly deep and unnecessarily philosophical take on the relevance of teeth, and maybe I vented a little also so just bill me for what I owe yall for the therapy lesson..aanyways I find these Imako teeth to be an incredible value and about as straight forward as it gets for an upper denture that you mold/custom fit yourself, is easy to take out and put back in, and can be put in your pocket in the provided carrying case when needed..don't be too concerned with getting them perfect the first time, just stove or microwave heat up some really hot water and then use that to soften your Imako teeth, the pink square of material provided, and any extra molding wax (clear beads) you plan on using..once theyre soft stretch/roll out both the pink stuff and any extra wax you're using to roughly match the length/width of the clear strip of "glue" that comes already on the back of the teeth and then put the teeth back into hot water to let the pink material and any extra wax melt/mix together naturally by melting together and once everything is good and soft you can take the teeth out and put the teeth in where they just barely hang past where your actual teeth are or would have been and use the separating line between the 2 middle fake teeth to align with the center of your nose but most importantly once theyre in place make sure you press as hard as you can, literally as hard as you can without it hurting (it's going to be a little uncomfortable since most people's gums are quite sensitive/tender) because getting that glue/wax as flat as possible is gonna keep the fake teeth from looking like a mouthpiece when they're in and allow you to talk practically like normal; when left too thick that wax causes the teeth to be out away from your teeth/gums too far and it just doesnt look right cause it pushes your upper lip outwards..take note also that each little contour and indentation of your gum's shape will be perfectly imprinted on these teeth once properly molded, which will for one thing help them to stay in, look, and feel natural but also do be aware that now that the teeth are formed/hardened when you put them in they must go in the absolute exact spot they were in when molded or it's gonna hurt like crazy if not because of the texture left from your gum shape needing to back into its spot so nothings jamming into your gums..don't be afraid to reheat and try again and certainly don't be afraid to fail the first time because that's how you kinda get to know the teeth and how they're gonna fit in your mouth once finished and help you with choosing the correct placement..also note that it says on the packaging that to get a new pair you just send in the mail to the address supplied $15 along with the old set of teeth once worn out or stained and that'll get you back a brand new set, every time, for $15!!!..can't beat that..now go out there and smile/shine you crazy diamond!..good luck and God bless! ... show more

  • Saran Wrap For Your Teeth
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1) Color: Large, Bleached White
Contemplating front veneers, I came across these and thought they might at the very least give me an idea of how veneers might look and possibly feel. To any of you who remember the toy 'Color forms" these are in every way exactly what they are. A punch out of paper thin plastic that looks exactly like cheap press on stickers. As if having to boil these choppers, mold them to your teeth without scalding your mouth isn't enough -The founder who is not a dentist but plays one in the how to apply video advises you not to ever drink , eat, expose to sunlight as they stain so very easily - and to expect to have difficulty talking to boot. What I found exceptionally rich was the paragraph in the instructions about reducing staining that says and I kid you not "Paint the Imako teeth with clear nail polish. When dry run the flame of a disposable lighter back and forth across the teeth to seal the nail polish" How wonderful - if you don't burst into flames you can enjoy having ill fitting, horrendous looking tooth decals coated with toxic NAIL POLISH swimming around your mouth. I don't know if there's a better option out there for temporary cosmetic improvements for better looking teeth however I do know that this product is as ridiculous as it is terrible. What is more, I can see Imako press on, nail polish coated teeth preventing people from seeking out proper dental and periodontal care. And that folks is nothing to smile about. ... show more

  • Take MY Money!
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1) Color: Small, Bleached White
About a year ago I had implant surgery and since then have been without upper teeth completely until they can figure out how to make a correct mold (PSA do NOT go to Brident Dental if you plan on getting implants!). Ahem - as I was saying...I've been without any upper teeth for a year now. I do have the posts in place but I am completely sick of walking around with pucker mouth. I'm going to be honest and say that I did NOT have high hopes for this set of teeth, but at the price point I figured "what have i got to lose". Well I am SO GLAD that I took that leap of faith because let me tell you something. These look better than the dentist made temporary teeth they gave me to wear! Application as VERY easy. I was done in a matter of about 10 minutes. I wore them to work today and asked some close friends if they looked natural and they all said they do. I will say they are bleached white, so if your teeth are a bit discolored I would drop them in some cold coffee for 3 to 5 hours until you can get them to the shade you want. All in all I would ABSOLUTELY recommend these to anyone looking to get a cheap alternative for dental work! ... show more
