So disappointed!!!The package arrived with opened and not sealed. I bought 6 cans but 2 of them are already opened. I tried to replace but this item is not eligible for replace or returning. Great flavor, easy to use, excellent for a cup or two. These pods and the little machine illy makes work wonderfully and we often use it for a break from drip coffee. My recent order has a significant problem with the way they (shipper) packaged it. This was sold as a “2” pack and they took individual cans and tapped them together with carton tape. There is sticky residue all over the lids and cans I can’t even get off with Goo Gone. So sticky everywhere making the container very undesirable.     • Great except there is no lid, so make sure you have a spare lid or another lidded container.

I have an Illy machine and was fed up with the Illy website's minimum order, shipping costs etc. I was therefore very happy to find this product on Amazon at a reasonable price and free shipping! The tin arrived without the lid (but the seal top keeps the capsules fresh inside) but otherwise in exactly the same condition that Illy tins arrive from the Illy.com website. Don't be put off if the seal top is "inflated" this is normal. I already had a tin with a lid so I will not miss the lid, however if you do not have a spare tin ( or spare lid, or a different container to keep your capsules in), once you have opened the seal top you will not have a way to keep the tin closed and therefore the capsules fresh. As for the quality of Illy decaf espresso coffee, it is the best decaf I have ever tasted. You could serve this to non-decaf drinkers and they would never know. I will be ordering these again and stop wasting my time over-ordering in the awkward to navigate Illy website. ... show more

This is excellent coffee and works well for the “lungo” (long) pour on the Illy Francis system. It is, however, an expensive and packaging-intensive format, and we look forward to retiring our iperpresso machine eventually. In addition, Amazon customers should be aware that occasionally the capsules arrive in damaged or expired or cover-missing condition. Amazon does seem to replace these for free (no return required), but it’s a risk. (We order on Subscribe & Save) ... show more

Absolutely delicious espresso. I've tried several machines including Nespresso and Nestle Dolce Gusto. The Illy machine is far cheaper than Nespresso (if you catch it on sale - I've purchased 3 machines at $80.00 a pop). Quite simply the best espresso from a capsule machine. It's very authentic. The crema comes from the pressure not some artificial whipped up foam like the Nespresso - you'd never get a coffee from a cafe in Italy that looks like a Nespresso shot. The brasile is delicious also but I stick with the Classico Medium Roast as I'm a traditionalist. Illy doesn't have th emarketing push Nespresso does but they don't need to - their coffee speaks for itself. ... show more

The lungo espresso is a long shot of espresso. Well unless you program your machine for a 'longer shot', you will not automatically get one just because you use these pods...just an FYI. they are tasty however.

This is as much a review of the system as it is of this particular pod selection. I've tried three flavors and they're all good. I've made espresso many ways over the years at home, and this one simply tastes the best. Much better, in fact, than most of the (U.S.) coffee shop's espresso I've had. Price is somewhat high for homemade espresso--the machine ~$170 and the pods are roughly $0.65 each (buy more and save if you drink a lot), but the cost is well worth it to me. ... show more

These capsules pull a longer pour which I like. The flavor might be a bit diluted or less exciting than the Brazil or Guatemala varieties you can try, but I’m happier with this. I’ve been ordering illy capsules on amazon for a couple years now, and the lungo tends to be the best value. Great thing to have around for the morning or when guests visit. Half the time during delivery the lid isn’t attached to the can in the box, but has never been a problem since there’s a foil peel off lid as well.
