  • Used it at my cousin's wedding
Size: 1-Pack
Used it without flash with very very low light condition. Shot some at 1600 too. I shot on my Nikon FM2n I tried to upload some photos but Amazon didn't allow me

  • Great stuff.
Size: 1-Pack
Great film. I shot 3 rolls of this and 1 or 2 of HP5+ 400 at the 100th Indy 500 (I wanted high shutter speeds and broad DoF with my 2x and 3x TCs - works great). It was a bit grainier than I'd have liked in some cases, but it others it's absolutely gorgeous. At first glance, the 100th almost looks like the 10th running. My preferences are towards industrial and line compositions, but I did takes some portraits while I was there and combination of tonal range and grain is fantastic. Kind of makes me want to do some portrait work. In the end though, check out samples online, don't take a reviewers word as everyone is different. But even better, buy a roll and have a go yourself. I used DDX for developing in 1:4, so that did add to the grain some. ... show more

  • Magic
Size: 1-Pack
Magic stuff - almost as good as TMAX 3200 which I have shot A LOT of but alas Kodak cancelled it years ago (BOOO, KODAK). Kudos to Ilford for keeping the high speed BW flag flying. The grain on this is wonderfully smooth, contrast is not overly harsh either. With a fast lens you can shoot in near darkness at 3200 or even 6400 if you want to go there. Some people say this is actually an ISO 1200 film but I don't see the point personally. If you want to shoot down there just push some Delta 400 or Tri-X and save your cashola. The flexibility in Delta 3200 is marvelous - get some. ... show more

  • Great film
Size: 1-Pack
Film is phenomenal, arrived relatively fast as well. Someone else left a review mentioning that their box arrived squished and opened, this happened to my order as well. Regardless, I’m leaving this item at 5 stars since the packaging doesn’t necessarily have any effect on the picture quality lol, just thought it’d be nice to throw this out there. ... show more

  • Great Film for Low Light Photography and Grain Lovers
Size: 1-Pack
This film is excellent for low light photography, or even greater light amounts and faster shutter speeds. I usually rate it at 1600 in my camera and develop as 3200. The results are always great with good tonality, and quite pronounced grain. I generally use this when I want that look for my photographs. Always good to have in the bag. ... show more

  • Love this film!
Size: 1-Pack
I started taking a basic film photography class and we worked with 125 iso and 400 iso film by Ilford. When it came time to do my low light assignment, I had to try this film. My instructor said he would love to see what I came up with, but that he would figure most of my shots would be grainy. I was amazed at the pictures I produced! I loved everyone! I was amazed at my low light pictures!! My instructor was also, but he did noticed some shots a little grainy, but it worked out well overall. I have to try more with this film and make more dramatic pictures! It was fun to try and I love it!! ... show more

Size: 1-Pack
My only negative concern about this film is the lack of local photo labs that are able to process this film. As in years past I am very pleased with this film's performance in low-light situations without necessity of a flash (bands performing in bars and taverns). I also like the fact I'm able to shoot local sporting events (such as baseball, softball, and football) under so-called normal lighting situations. ... show more

  • Best B&W Film that exists. Perfect Grain. Low Light on point. 10/10.
Size: 1-Pack
My favorite b&w film stock. Absolutely beautiful in low light and incredibly fine grain. Grain is visible in the best way. A key reason to still shoot analog is this film. See example images in 'photos' for this review.
