The reason I didn’t give it a five star because of the instructions, the right and left parts wasn’t marked, would have made it much easier to assemble. It looks Great, Good Quality. If you have two people made it much easier to assemble. But one person can do it.

Installed on a 2021 ram 1500 5th Gen. Went together easily and secured well. Nothing is loose or wobbly. I really liked the fact you can remove the red plate and change the color. I did have to modify the mount to work with my hard tanau cover but it wasn't too hard. All in all pretty good universal bar, and looks really good on the truck.

First off I'll say I hate to return anything. Keep in mind this review is for installation on a 2012 Ram 1500 Quad Cab EXPRESS. I purchased because I liked the appearance and no drill installation. I did not measure my truck bed because product is advertised as fitting full size truck and had my year and model listed. PRODUCT WAS NOT WIDE ENOUGH. In the pictures provided you can see where I placed two pieces of 1 inch square tube stock cut to 18 inches length (both sides). I bought new SS hardware because I needed 3 inch bolts now. Offset to the inside one inch on each side. Pictures show I could only get two provided bolts at the very end of each slot. Center tube with light bar is at least four inches short and was swelled out too much to be rigid. I shimmed with aluminum sheet material to snug up the connecting corner posts. If the outside posts were engaged more in the center tube it would have been more rigid. This was important to me because I wanted it to be functional also. I plan on ordering some end caps for the aluminum stock. Overall it looks good on the truck, but this project turned into a lot more work than should have been. If this item were to be tweaked a little, it would be a great back rack.

It’s fairly easy to put together and put on with only one person. The only thing that made it difficult for me was it mounted where my tonneau cover mounted so I had to modify the tonneau cover mounts to work with it. Otherwise it was all smooth going. The only down side that I can see is my tonneau isn’t as waterproof as it once was but it wasn’t always completely anyways.

The four screws that hold the crossbar don’t tighten down at all and the crossbar is all wobbly so I’m gonna have to spot weld it to hold it steady.
