This glucose monitor is nice and compact and very easy to use.I keep a small used pill bottle in the case to put the used blood strip and needle, to make it more convenient to dispose of them safely. It have several settings for the needle "poke". Not having used one, I started at 5 but it was too painful so I dropped down to #2. Also, the reader needs to be charged with the included usb charger before using. I only test about once a day or so, so the charge lasts for a couple of weeks or more. There are very few problems with the product and app,once you understand to use the app. I like the readings the different ways that it reads when you take the test. Sometimes it doesn't always share the results with samsung health. Ordering supplies is very easy and not to costly. Great meter! Easy to use and the app is amazing! Loved being able to just pull the app up on my phone at my doctors appointment. Great deal with the first purchase. Love that it connects via Bluetooth and does so really easily. I love the compact case however it took a minute to figure out how to make it all fit. And did I mention it is so easy to read and it just connects to your app and breaks down your blood sugar readings by time of day and meals and then does your average!!! So very cool. Small, portable, easy to use. Small drop of blood once you figure out exactly where to place it (at the end so it runs up the channel). The app keeps track and you can add in the preceding event (ie: fasting, breakfast, etc.)

A perfect product in every aspect: It is intuitive and easy to mount and dismount the Glucometer Strip and the Lancet; it works with a well-designed mobile phone app to record and transmit data. Each morning it took me less than 1 minute and a half to complete the monitoring process. It made me go from being afraid of doing this daily monitoring routine to looking forward to doing it every morning. The only worry is that since the lancets and glucometer strips can only come from this one seller if they raise the supplies to unreasonable levels, it could cause headaches. ... show more

I am borderline diabetic so I need to start watching my sugar. I use an android phone and the app is on there. It's VERY easy to use and I can see my numbers on the app. It keeps a history, let's me choose before or after each meal, my medicine I take and it can be anything. You can insert what you take, for example ibuprofen or meds not diabetes related. You can also make notes for occurance and you can note how many carbs you had. It has a history and gives your average for each week. I love it and it has helped me be more conscious of my carbs and sugar levels. ... show more

Easy to use. I wish the app was more flexible. I often wake up on my own in the middle of the night and take a reading. My only options for labeling are "bedtime" or "random". All of the hardware is easy to use. Glad I bought it because I wanted to know if blood sugar was why I was waking up in the middle of the night. Money well spent. The instructions for the lancer was not clear but I finally figured it out. The illustrations are small and faded, so its hard to see what you're looking at. I wasted a couple of test strips trying to figure out the right way to insert them into the reader. It seems to work good other than that. But the biggest complaint/downside is that the ihealth google play app does NOT have an entry for this tester, so you cannot record your results on your phone. I have a scale and a blood pressure cuff that I can and do record my results on my phone so it is very irritating that I cannot save my blood sugar results on my phone either. ... show more
