  • What a great Amp ended my surch for a great cheap amp
Was skeptical about this amp even after watching the youtube review , I bought a boss 3000wat at first and it sucked under powered and sound quality was muddy, and week no matter how I adjusted it, pushing two Rockford Fosgate P2 12” subs in a sealed enclosure , sent the boss back and got this one instead , I am happy this amp is doing the job and then some , love the fact it has a wide frequency range, and hi pass can be shaped from the sub eq on my kinwood deck . I got nice accurate bass reproduction the quality of sound with this amp after painstakingly dialing it in is amazing ,pushing my subs a 1ohm with gain to spare , the bass is clean and punchy with nice depth you can feel . The amp has a big foot print $100 for a great sounding 1000w RMS amp cant go wrong , it is time consuming dialing it in though. But I am happy ,be carful start this amp with gain all the way down this amp can and will blow your subs use a 50hz pulse and a volt meter to set up your RMS power . ... show more

  • It's well worth the money!
I purchased two of these budget gems and they are doing very well. No overheating and pushing out power every day! I'm running two 12 inch subs wired down to 2 ohms and wired together for a 1 ohm load AND I added two 8 inch subs wired down to 2 ohms and put the 8s in a series for a 2 ohm load and the amplifier has no worries after several hours of over the road trucking. BOOM BOOM BOOM. The bass is very deep and I love the 0 to 18 db gain combined with the Bass knob.... This may be one of the best Amps ever made.... ... show more

  • No 6000 Watts But Still a Solid Value
I test and review amps and budget amps are very popular. This Ignite R3000/1D turns out to be an amazing value at the current price of 100 bucks. The other very popular amp at this price point is the Boss AR4000D. Both amps put out around 1000 watts RMS power at 1 ohm, however, the Ignite accomplishes this number using the Amp Dyno's "Certified" mode, which stops the test at 1% THD. I'll give you a rundown of the results of each amp below. (all tests performed at 40Hz) Ignite R3000/1D (aka "6000 watt") 1 ohm certified (1% THD) - 1111 watts @ 14.8 volts 1 ohm uncertified (to clipping) - 1122 watts @13.92 volts 1 ohm dynamic RMS power (simulates speakers) - 1382 watts @ 13.82 volts Boss AR4000D 1 ohm certified (1% THD) - 886 watts @14.73 volts 1 ohm uncertified - 1097 watts @13.48 volts 1 ohm dynamic RMS Power - 1188 @13.52 volts As you can see the Ignite is more powerful in each test, although the actual difference in loudness is not that noticeable (numbers are extremely close in dBW). I posed a question to my amplifier engineer and technician friends and many agreed the Boss has a better design with the double sided circuit board (the Ignite is single). However some others mentioned the PWM driver module on the Boss is prone to failure. My overall opinion on these amps is they are great for those on a budget, but realize they are inexpensive for a reason. They use cheap parts and cheap labor. Don't expect miracles and don't be shocked when something breaks. But they are fantastic values and hard to pass up for those who want something cheap with a warranty. -Dereck "BigDWiz" ... show more

  • Inexpensive power.
Awesome inexpensive amp. Gains turned all the way down also bass boost & wired to a 4 ohm load more than enough to shake ur mirrors. Pleasantly surprised. Did a challenge "cheapest build" with friends & well this amp kiss booty. Went with two planet audio 8s & this amp with a box I built under 200 dollars. And it won't win spl & dosen't hot as low as I like not due to the amp. It is awesome. Prefer lower fs and tuned subs than 39hz. Not the maps fault. However plenty of inexpensive power. ... show more

  • Rname it Sparky, It's $20 cheaper to buy it directly from the seller & they have the 1600 model
The media could not be loaded. I've installed over 25 amp/sub combos over the years and never not once did I have an amp that was wired perfectly only put out sound after sparking/grounding the body of the amp to my trucks seat frame. I only found that out by accident after I ran a new set of RCA cables even though all the wiring worked just 3 days earlier when I had a Rockville Phenom RXD M1 mono block amp installed. I was selling the sub and box that was in my suv so I could buy what I needed for my F-150 supercab and after the buyer heard the amp he insisted on buying the Rockville amp, paying $50 more than I paid for it new. I used that $ to buy the ignite that got so much hype, I wish I never sold my Rockville because these ignite amps are hit or miss and mine was a miss. What's even stranger/ more troubling is that after pulling one of the fuses the power light was still on and it still sparked when the amp body touched the ground. I've never seen an amp still show power after pulling the fuse. In the video you'll see me pick up a my wire strippers and pull on something, that would be the fuse I removed, it just so happened that the fuse was out of the frame. If you know how the amp is set up it's obvious that I was pulling a fuse out. I'm send this back as soon as the Rockville RVA-M3 that I ordered gets delivered. Another issue the bass knob is way too touchy 1 click = no boost 5 click-8 clicks =-90% boost and the oher 30-40% of knob rotation does little to nothing./ mI really had high hopes for this amp I had been eyeballing it since I saw the dyno test on youtube by the guy who did the first review. Once I get my refund I'll update my review and detail what the problem was but I don't want them denying my refund because I had to find out what the problem was with their POS amp. ... show more

  • Solid power, and a really good value at a GREAT price!!
Have not clamped or put this on am Amp Dyno, but it definitely makes my subs move! Check YouTube, as there is a video of it on the dyno. I like the look of the amp, as well as the remote bass knob that comes with it. Just just over a c-note this is an excellent value. Take caution with setting your gain, a fair amount of distortion will likely cause harm to your subs. I still enjoy this product nonetheless. I have this wired to my 2- Cerwin Vega 12" subs, at a final impedance of 1ohm. And They get down!! ... show more
