I'm quite happy with what I got given the price of this controller. However by settling at this price point I did have a major drawback. I haven't seen anyone else touch on this, but when this controller is left plugged in to my PC, it makes it so that my display no longer turns off due to inactivity, which prevents my PC from going into sleep mode. But when I unplug the controller and awaken the PC from sleep mode and try to plug the controller back to play games, it won't work anymore despite repeated unplugging and replugging of the controller. The only solution that works is to completely restart my PC, which isn't a big deal considering I have an NVMe SSD, but it gets really annoying when I'm constantly having to restart every time I want to play something with my controller after my PC has gone to sleep once. Again, I'm happy with what I got for the price point, but this one issue is so annoying I nearly considered a 2 star review. ... show more

I have used so many controllers that simply did not work after a time and started to drift and leak but this Ifyoo controller is Amazing. The controller has nice features but you can "feel" it's low price tag. I personally don't mind it especially for a back up controller and I know the plastic and rubber were used to keep the price low. So if you need a low cost controller, this is it.

Works perfect for one thing, so I will cover that first. Boyfriend says the thumb-sticks have a problem with not being sensitive enough, and then become overly sensitive. He says that you have to push the sticks waaay too far to get them going, but then once you do they become too sensitive. He plays a lot of different games. Dark Souls, Need For Speed, Mirrors Edge, and Devil May Cry...they all have the same problem, no matter the settings in-game. He said it made racing/drifting more challenging, but then games like Dark Souls and Sekiro? Won't register movement unless you essentially push the thumbstick all the way. Triggers are nice, pressure sensitive instead of activated (so in racing games you can perfectly control the gas and brakes) and for games like my Fallout and Skyrim makes attacking/shooting pretty responsive. The Bumpers work amazingly, and we both abuse those bumpers for a variety of games, so that is a good thing. Dpad works perfectly. The "Turbo" button is useful. You activate it, press which SINGLE button you want it to repeat, and it will do that every time. If you have ever played Devil May Cry 5, the boyfriend says it makes playing Dante and Virgil a breeze, expecially with Virgil since his ranged attack just fires like a machine gun instead of the much slower manual option. Just remember that you have it activated, because it repeats the selected button HYPER FAST! ... show more

As everyone knows, there are myriads of USB X-Box controllers for PC out there. I have a few of them, and on some games, the mapping is a bit off, which results in the game not functioning as it should, because the X-box emulation of the controller is not as perfect as it should be. This is NOT one of those controllers! This baby reads a an X-box controller as soon as you plug it in to your USB port and it performs perfectly! Honestly, I bought this controller by mistake and attempted to cancel the order; but was unable to cancel it...So when it arrived, I was all set to simply send it back. But just to be sure, I plugged it in for a test drive and it worked so well, that I'm keeping it!! I've owned this controller for 3 years. I'd been looking for a wired controller to play my Steam games with that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg. Its biggest annoyance up to this point has been shutting off once the computer does and not powering back on without me having to get on my hands and knees, unplugging it and plugging it back into its USB port. Recently, however, the 'A' button has begun sticking. At first it was minor, but it's progressed to the point where it's occasionally causing me to lose games. It's highly likely I'll be needing to buy a new controller soon. Three years really isn't my idea of a long life for a game controller. If you can afford to shell out a little extra money for something a little more durable, I recommend it. ... show more

Sometimes the left analog stick will stick slightly to the right. I have to manually reset its position each time by clicking in the right spot, and/or pulling the stick up to reset to neutral. I clicked and unclicked the sticks all the time on the official DualShock controllers so this is not the problem. It hasn't made any games unplayable yet, as this issue only comes up after the controller rests for a few hours, and even then only sometimes, thus four rather than five or three stars. When I buy something I want it to work properly. I bought a mouse in 2017 that still works perfect so there's no reason why this PS2 controller can't work perfect after much less than that. Still, this isn't the worst thing in the world because most of the games I play can be controlled with the Dpad, or are PS1 games, but it is a bit inconvenient. I certainly won't buy this brand again, but I can't say I regret the purchase for the price because everything else works just fine. Perhaps I just got a bad piece of hardware in a good batch but it sure smells like engineered obsolescence to me. It's good. Not amazing, not mediocre, but good.
