Overall build quality seems nice but unfortunately not able to use this printer as I purchased it due to the description saying Linux compatible. The seller only offers x86/x64 filter but nothing for a ARM CUPS filter. Really should call this incompatibility out in the description...

The media could not be loaded. FIRST IMPRESSIONS: The Thermal printer itself is very compact-and easy to take on the go- (box says that it’s 2.98 pounds) and I love that you don’t need to constantly buy ink (like You would on an actual printer-but instead more thermal power rolls) which run at an insanely cheaper price! The instructions are very easy to read and follow and I appreciate the pictures detailing what step follows the other. I also like that it gives examples of what to do (example of this: on page 4 it tells you how to download the program using the CD provided; and it gives you an example of if you have windows 7 installed how you would go about the next steps) PREFERENCE BUT NOT A CON: This was a complete mistake of mine- due to lack of reading- but the thermal printer is not a Bluetooth friendly printer- (I prefer printers that let me print directly off my phone) but again, that was my fault for not reading! PS- It isn’t a bad thing at all that it doesn’t connect to your phone, it’s completely preference based! DEVICE COMPATIBILITY: That being said-these are the computers/softwares that are compatible: Windows 7/8/10 Windows server 2008/2012/2016 Linux Javapos OPOS MacOS So if you have any of these softwares this thermal printer is compatible for you to use! ... show more

This printer was easy to set up and get working, which is important to me. This printer prints like it should with no issues at all and the cutter cuts clean every time. The rolls are easy to load which is a must for me too. Overall I am happy and I would buy again. 5 STARS

This is a great receipt printer. It is easy to install and easy to use, print quality is decent (but not great). Print speed is fast, never had any paper jam issue so far (been using it for couple of months). I don't use POS machine so can't tell how it works with POS machine, but for my use (print packing list/receipt for online orders) this is a great solution. I would recommend. ... show more
