I always complain about the leather edging on sandals having this sharp edge or cutting into my skin or being too tight feeling. These are very comfortable without even having to break them in. I feel like they are READY to wear straight out of the box This also gets a good rating from me because they actually fit my wide feet! So glad they didn't come narrow like some sandals in this style. The bottom foot pad is slightly cushioned in places (doesn't feel like cushion is uniformed throughout) which makes them comfortable to wear for longer periods of time than flats. I did have a strap problem going over my pinky toe but after adjustment it was fine and didn't bother me again. I just simply pulled the strap up and over and moved it next to the rest of the straps in the outer side of the feet. Never had problems with heel strap or strap bear big toe. They are a little loose around ankle but I have tiny ankles and personally I like slipping them on rather than buckling over and over so this works for me. So yes, good rating cause they are surprisingly comfortable without the need to break in and they fit wider feet! They look cute and the brown ones go with almost any anything. No need for extra support. The support in place (or should I say padding) is decent enough compared to strap sandals that have a flat bottom. ... show more

I just received these today and I was so excited to try them on. They’re really cute, they’re a flattering style, and they’re good quality and well made. I ended up so disappointed though. Despite ordering the correct size; they’re huge. The length is perfect, but the straps are so big around that when I lift my foot up off the floor, the sandal hangs down off my foot by almost an inch. I’m 5 9 and 135 lbs. and I wear an average size in clothing and shoes, and I don’t have narrow feet. The straps on these are so big that when I’m wearing them, I can slip all of my fingers up to the knuckles under the straps that cross the toe and foot. Because it has a buckle, I can tighten the ankle strap, but that doesn’t help the rest of the shoe. I wondered if I might have received a size wide, but I’ve checked the listing, the shoe box, and the shoe, and they all have the correct size printed on them. I feel like I could wear these about three or four sizes smaller, but then the length would be too short. I hate leaving critical reviews, so I want to say again that these are very nice sandals. Something is just off in the sizing. I think if your feet are normal in circumference, then there’s a chance these will probably be too big for you. ... show more

My order arrived within 24hrs, which is great- wanted these for Memorial Day festivities with Hubby, because I refuse to wear any type of heels this weekend, not even wedges! The shoes were well packaged, each in its own shoe bag, which is nice. The cushion is thin but there's enough to make the shoe comfortable; it doesn't feel like you're just walking on the floor. The straps are comfortable around my toes and ankles. I wear a size 7.5- 8.5 sneaker depending on the brand and an 8.5 in most dress shoes due to wide feet. I ordered these in a size 9, because I've learned to upsize when ordering shoes online, and although I had a little extra room they fit my foot well, and felt well as I walked around the house. They need a little breaking in, but that's all new shoes. I think they are a great pair of summer sandals. ... show more

These are some attractive sandals for spring and summer ware. They are dressy enough to look business causal but casual enough to want to wear everywhere. I have issue with straps historically, but these straps do not dig, sit in a good spots on the foot for comfort, and the adjustable ankle strap provides good security. There is zero arch support and little thickness in the sole, so they aren't as comfortable as Birkenstocks, but they are the next best thing from being barefoot. I wore them through an airport, to work, and on a dog walk, and they grip did fine, the comfort was a-ok, and I looked cute. Definitely recommend these versatile sandals. ... show more

After reading the other reviews, I was a little hesitant to get these, due to reports of inconsistent sizing However, they fit beautifully, and I have wide feet. The buckles and holes work well, which is something I can't say about all shoes with buckles I've purchased online. They're comfortable, too.
