I bought one of these skirts and then immediately came back to buy three more once it was delivered and I confirmed my size! These skirts are so cute and are exactly as pictured. In total, I bought three wool and one tweed. The wool skirts are all sooo comfy and are consistent in sizing. The tweed, however, was slightly tighter and the fabric was very itchy, so I unfortunately had to return. It was adorable, though, and I really wanted to make it work! The skirts are all lined, have a zipper closure, and feel much more expensive than they actually were. Overall, I am really pleased. With regard to fit, I am 5'4" with a 34" waist and 45" hips. I went with an XL, and it fits as expected. The XL is a little too roomy in my waist, but a L would have been too tight in my hips. I don't struggle with the skirt falling down due to my hip size, but it does ride up a bit if I am carrying a bag that's rubbing up against it, so I do find myself adjusting it every so often. The roominess in the waist allows me to be able to tuck sweaters, though, so it's fine and manageable! I am fairly modest in how I dress, and I think this is the perfect length for a short skirt at my height, going about an inch below my finger tips. I purchased this skirt specifically to go over fleece-lined leggings so I could wear it in Europe in 40-degree weather without being uncomfortably cold. It sits nicely at my natural waist, and has maybe an inch of extra room. I'd prefer it just a touch taken in at the waist, but know it will be comfortable when I'm walking around and sitting at bars or restaurants. For reference I'm 5'9 approx 145lb with a 28" waist and got the medium. It's soft and nicely lined, but it does not have any stretch to it. I would buy this in other colors. ... show more
