Going to start this off by saying the skirt has pockets!! Now onto business, I reall love the waistband on this skirt, it hugs my waist and accentuates my figure. The skirt material is thick and warm. Such a nice skirt. It’s heavy and warm and flowy! I’m 5’2 and around 160lb; I got a large and the length is great, by my feet. However, the waist band is VERY snug and doesn’t have any stretch. I usually end up loosening the zipper a little on the side, and it’s more comfortable and not noticeable.

This is an amazing skirt! I have a hard time finding flattering, shapely skirts that are modest and warm for winter (and ones that fit over some midsection pudge). The fabric is the softest, warmest, .odt lovely fabric...and it's lined. But not lined with something nasty and slippery and cheap. My toddler came to me when I tried it on and kept hugging me like I was a soft teddy bear 😂 Definitely keeping this. I got some different colors and it seems the waist size might vary a bit depending. I got some khaki color and the size large waist is pretty snug. But the "long brown" style one (a tan and brown plaid) feels much better, almost perfect (just very slightly snug). There is an elastic that could be loosened in the back. I think that's the way to go if you love this skirt but feel thr waist is a bit tight There is an appropriate and generous amount of fabric in the a line and if you sized up for the waist, it would look.overall more like an oversized tent with extra fabric. Updated: somehow the waist actually worked out fine when actually wearing it for the day. It's gorgeous on...wore with a plain black top tucked in. I received two compliments. It was warm and comfortable in cold climate. I washed it warm with our other clothes, no special care and gave it just a few mins in the dryer before taking it out and hanging to dry. Dried perfect and soft, well shaped and no need for ironing or anything. Very classy. Happy with it! ... show more

I ordered this skirt in 2 patterns. I'm at the upper end of the size range, but other reviewers around my weight said it fit them so I took a chance. Unfortunately, the skirts were ~an inch too small. Sad, because I REALLY liked both patterns - the skirts seemed well made, the material was nice and soft, warm, and best of all - POCKETS!     • Beautiful skirt, but beware of the zipper

I absolutely love this skirt. The color is perfect. It fits well and it is very flowing. It falls about 3” below my knee and will look great with boots. It arrived a little wrinkled. I washed it in cold water on delicate and dried it on delicate till it was damp dry, and then hung it up, and it came out great. I like that it is lined, and the material is soft and warm without being overly heavy. It has elastic in the back and a regular band in the front, but there isn’t a lot of stretch. I ordered a size large and it fit me perfect. I am 5’6” and 150 lbs. The only negative is the zipper. It is a nylon zipper and it is extremely hard to zip up and down. I even put candle wax on it, hoping that might help it slide easier but it seems to stick right at the band. After that it’s fine. And it does this whether I’m wearing it or it’s hung up on a hanger. I guess you could replace the zipper if you wanted. But I like it so much. I’m just gonna deal with the zipper. I only wish I would’ve bought this earlier, but I’ll definitely be wearing it more in the fall. ... show more
