I bought it because my weight fluctuates. Usually just bigger and I liked the elastic. I didn’t realize it has a zipper too so I hope the elastic isn’t for show. It’s already pretty snug so I hope it’s not too tight if I gain some weight. I’m tired of having to get rid of nice things. Love the color in person. Flattering A-line cut in a mid-weight wool blend. Hangs well, good drape. I have a 32 inch waist with medium hips, and the large fit with no stretch in the elastic in back. Very comfortable. This is a warm skirt for cold weather. It will look great with short or tall boots. The Navy Blue is a blue (primary color), green, brown and beige plaid. Very Autumn. For the price point, the skirt is well made- lined, and thick outer layer. I haven’t worn it, so I’m unsure how well it holds up. It looks like the picture, as far as the pattern/color. My one complaint is the excessive fabric at the hip area- if your hips are curvy like mine, it may make them appear bigger than they actually are (I’m able to grab extra fabric at the hip areas, and still have plenty of room). This skirt is so beautiful and I’ve had tons of compliments on it! Beautiful for the fall and winter keeps me warm! I was a bit hesitant to buy due to wool makes me itchy but it didn’t! Buy this now. Will be buying more! I did buy a size up bc I wear sweaters !

I ordered the skirt in “navy”. It’s actually black with green, brown and camel plaid as opposed to what looks like navy blue with black and cream in the photo. I still like this color, but the cut of the skirt and the pleats in the back make it a little on the frumpy side so I might return it. Also, I wear a size 8, but I’m glad I ordered the size large in this skirt because it fits just right and the medium I debated on getting would have been way too small. ... show more

I got this skirt for my first renaissance fair this fall and it worked out amazingly. The skirt is nice and thick but not too sweaty underneath after walking around all day, super soft, and the stretch is fantastic. Super comfy. For size reference, I'm 5'8", 210lbs, and the size I ordered fit me very well. Not too large, not too small. I got lots of compliments on this skirt at the fair! This skirt is comfortable and flattering. The material is nice and thick so it will make a wonderful winter skirt. The elastic around the back causes the skirt to fit nicely on my waist. There is a zipper also. So the style shows off my waist but also is comfortable.

I really love these skirts. I have 3 now. The thickness of the material and the lining is great. I get the long and they are perfect for fall and winter. I am 5'10 and 170 pounds and the large fits great. I also like that they have pockets that don't gap and the material is soft.
