I am 5'3" and weigh 140 lbs. when I read the description the measurements were a bit confusing so I opted to buy a large because I don't like anything tight around my waist. (I typically wear a medium.) I was glad to have the large because I would say the skirt runs a tad small but with the elastic waist it wasn't at all tight. The skirt is an a-line so it fits generously around the hip, which is good for me since I'm a small person but curvy. The description said 'long' but the length was perfect; long enough to cover boots and hit at the right spot above my ankle but not long enough that I had to shorten it. For a petite person, it's a maxi skirt rather than a midi. It is lined and has pockets. The fabric is very thick so it's good for very cold weather - if you live in a warm climate or have very few cold days, it may be too thick. Also, the thickness adds bulk so if you are curvy like me, it may make your hips look a bit curvier. Since I needed the skirt for being outside on a cold day dressed up, it's just right. I’m big on skirts since I have to wear them twice a week at the least, and our winters can get extremely cold. I wanted some nice wool-y and thicker skirts, and this is IT! I love the colors because it can go with so many different tops. Plus, the stretchy fit is really convenient. It goes past your knee so your legs don’t get cold, and I always get tons of compliments on it. Did I mention the pockets?!? The wool material is high quality and keeps me warm during the colder months. The skirt is also very comfortable to wear and has a classic, elegant design. I had this skirt in my cart for weeks and am so happy I decided to buy it. I wore it to work today and I got so many compliments. It really made my day. The skirt fits well and is very flattering for my short body. The skirt is heavy and has a nice lining. Great skirt for winter.

This is a great skirt for the price. The fabric is thick and it’s fully lined. Plus there are pockets!!! Love.     • Love this warm skirt!

I'm in love with this skirt! I'm 46 years old and work from home as an artist with two teen daughters and we're active outdoors. So I use paint all day, hang out with my kids and dogs, run errands around town, and everything in between wearing this skirt. I purchased the long camel in extra small and it's perfect. I pair it with some winter fleece lined tights and can throw on some booties and a cute cardigan and head out. The skirt is lined so it feels like it has some quality to it and the side zip is handy plus some elastic on the back of the waist makes it easy to get it settled on your hips or a little higher depending on where you want it to ride on your waist. Okay, the POCKETS are amazing and fit my phone and I'd buy more just for that feature. I'm about 5'1" (114 lbs) and the skirt lands a couple inches above my ankles. It's not so long that I trip over it running up and down stairs and I just have to make sure I don't close my car door on it when I'm in a hurry. Overall, I'll be ordering more of these and plan on washing it on gentle or hand wash it and low tumble in dryer. I got the longer version because the color I liked only came long... I will get it tailored as it is too long for my liking. I like my skirts to be just below the knee and this goes down almost to my ankles, which I knew going into it. The faabric is actually really nice and thick.. perfect for heading into cold weather. I love this skirt! It was more than I would normally spend on one article of clothing. But, once it arrived, I did not regret buying it! It’s so cute and flattering! The only reason I gave it a four star instead of five is because the zipper is a bit wonky and will most likely need to be replaced.
