Ultimately bought two sets of these as they are reasonably priced; only one of the first pair would stay lit up so rather than go through the hassle of returning bought an additional set in hopes at least one would work....again only one worked!! In our first late night drive in a very black desert and mountain drive with the two that work they were a huge disappointment and had to use our high beams almost exclusively to get home safe!! I am a retired law enforcement person who knows from driving cars in very demanding conditions that these are inherently unsafe at demanding highway speeds and especially in mountainous and hazardous dark desert conditions.....going back to US produced OEM lights ... show more

I learned a lot with my HID... the good thing here is that I don't blow expensive HID lamps anymore because some mechanic thinks they know what they are doing without checking information. I found this all out ofter getting these installed and being a lot disapointed in the brightness but delighted with the cost. I want to get my electical system fixed and get my HID back in but one thing is for sure, If you attempt to do this yourself, make sure you seal the cover back over the houseing tightly, securely and correctly. After a couple of winters, my HID ballast got wet and caused a major electrical nightmare that I couldn't afford to fix and finally I got someone that knew what he was doing and make the suggestion to install these because I kept blowing the other lamps. They are a lot cheaper and a super fantastic option for my situation. I would have rated them 5 stars if the advertising had been more accurate... well honest, about listing they are just as bright as HID's. Which they are not. ... show more

The website stated it fits my 1999 Mercedes E320. It does not. In the photo the burned out bulb is on left. Note it has two flat prongs. This replacement bulb (on right) has a rounded base with a central terminal. I had to return it.

First off the price I was charged 100.00 per bulb at advance auto parts I ordered these and the shipping it self was fast the quality of the bulbs are great and they work great for 8000k they fit like they should OEM standards the only thing I didnt care for was the packaging they came in when shipped but other then tht they are great I have had them in for a few months now and j run them none stop day time running lights and they are still holding up I will definitely buy them agin ... show more

Easy to install, they did what I needed then to do. I will purchase again, but next time I want then to be a little brighter for my liking. The packaging was great by the way, very secure. I have a 2008 Nissan Altima 3.5 I did not remove my bumper to install these lights I pulled my flaps back and locked my steering wheel accordingly. Got to the bulb from the box easy install, and by the way I am a female you can remove the tire for easier access but still a quick job. ... show more

These came in proper protective packaging and were a direct replacement for my Nissan Rogue. Only one had burned out but I figured while I had the hood up might as well do both of them. I also didn't know what the existing K rating of the old ones were so I just got two new 8K lights and they are amazing and turn on every time no problem. For the price they are an excellent deal compared to local auto part stores... Me: "Hi, I'd like a bulb for my 2009 Nissan" Clerk: "Automatic or Manual?" Me: *face palm*"Automatic" Clerk: "$42.69 each" Me: "Nice... but I'll get them on Amazon" Clerk: "... I do the same thing...shh" ... show more

    • Not much brighter than Factory bulb & did not last half as long.
I purchased the bulbs as a pair to replace working factory OEM bulbs. My hopes were that these would be considerably brighter than the factory bulbs and would last longer. Unfortunately one failed miserably, the high and the low beam & the other has a flicker. I can not speak for the quality nor can I recommend this bulb based on lack of longevity and lack of crisp brightness. ... show more
