Works great in my 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Doesn't hang out the back, like in the picture, if you have the back seats folded down. It does go all the way back though. It would easily hang out the back if the back seats were up. I took the dogs out and all the sand stayed in the mat. Just unhooked, pulled out the back, and shook it out. I love this cargo liner. I have 4 dogs of my own and I often am fostering 2 or 3 additional puppies. I needed something I could trust to protect my car. I've had foster puppies pee, poop, and puke on it and it is so easy to clean. It is also great for yardwork. This does the job it says it does, so I'll give them that, but my dog could not get traction on it and slid every time we slowed to a stop or started moving forward from a stop. Hairpin turns was the same way. The surface is very slippery and all she could do is lay down to keep from sliding all over. ... show more

This one doesn't get much use so unsure on water resistant. Probably like most, handles wet dog feet, but not full on water spillage. Very cushiony though compared to others. It's main use has been hauling firewood for camping and keeping my trunk looking clean and new. Based on my car (BMW x3) This cover pretty much covers my trunk. It can roll out a flap over the bumper for protection. I installed this with seats down then folded the front to put up my back seats, when I need to drop the seats it attaches to the front seats nicely to give me a nice full cover for hauling stuff. The pipe holders are pretty worthless in the trunk, the instructions show how they are meant to be used, but we're not designed for my car storage compartment? I also have the BMW full plastic trunk liner underneath, which doesn't allow them to fit right I think was the main issue. It doesn't slide around though. I have about 4 inches on either side that comes up the side, this keeps dirt and such from getting around the cover. The only spot is the back side doors which lays flat, but would dump out the door if opened. You will notice it on the item pictures how it rises on the sides. I love this about the product, full length protection than too little. I have not cleaned this cover, it still looks brand new, but I have pulled it out and shook out the dirt and wood chips, a quick wet rag wipe and was done clean again. ... show more

Fit perfectly on my 2015 Subaru Forester. my dogs can easily lay down and take a nap on our way to their weekly Pawty now. The only downside is there is no opening for seatbelt buckle and no passenger side door protection so it can get messy sometimes.
