Needed tail lights for my 2021 HD iron XL883N. It's a dual element lamp with dual contacts (1157) and used as Brake/DRL/Blinker on the rear lights. When I selected my bike for fitment it said these would not fit. But for the price I took a chance and I was right in doing so as they fit perfectly. They're way bright and work flawlessly. These were installed in a 2011 Hyundai Elantra. The bulbs themselves were as easy to install as the original incandescent bulbs, although this vehicle requires removal of the entire tail light assembly to replace this bulb. This bulb produces a more pure Red color than the original incandescent bulb. It looks very nice and bright. The brake light is noticeably brighter when the brake is pressed too, although likely less difference than the original bulb. The design of the bulb with LEDs all around plus additional LEDs facing front provide perfect light distribution. They look great. The bulb is also significantly cooler than the original bulbs. The socket was showing signs of heat from the original bulbs, so this should prevent future damage. It will also use less energy from the electrical system, another plus. It is too soon to know how long this bulb will last. Theoretically they should significantly outlast the incandescent bulbs, but I've had mixed success with LED bulbs. Expectation of long life is why I chose this LED bulb though. This vehicle requires the entire tail light assembly to be removed to replace this bulb, and incandescent bulbs have already failed several times. Giving them 5 stars simply because I have absolutely no negatives about them as of right now, it will drop if they decide to stop working. They're smaller than the original halogen bulbs, they fit perfectly into the sockets, they don't have any weird delays or anything when hitting the turn signals, none of the led chips were damaged, They're not overpoweringly bright, but they have more than enough brightness to be seen in the daytime. I read tons of reviews about how these hyperflash like crazy on turn signals. They always will if your vehicle didn't have factory led turn signals because leds draw much less power and halogen vehicles think the bulb is out. You either need to install inline resistors, or some vehicles have led flasher relay upgrades available that you just swap out and are done with it. ... show more
