  • Such an amazing CD.
After all these eight months of hard work for this CD, I finally have it in my hands. I am actually listening to it right now. :P This CD is such a good CD, it is so sad that it goes for a really high price now. Anyway, I'm now gonna rate the songs. :P Romance, 10/10- Love this intro so much! Honey This Mirror Isn't Big Enough For The Two Of Us, 15/10- This was the first song I heard on Bullets, and it is definitely one of my favorites on here. I love how "screamy" it is. c: Vampires Will Never Hurt You, 8/10- Not one of my favorites, but I still like this song. Drowning Lessons. 10/10- Love this song so very much, the guitar solos though, man. THE GUITAR SOLOS, MAN!!! Plus I love the lyrics. Our Lady Of Sorrows, 20/10- Another one of my favorites! The lyrics are just so deep, and I love that. Headfirst For Halos, 100/10- MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE ON THIS CD. It's probably one of my all time favorite MCR songs (This song and I'm Not Okay are my favorite MCR songs. :P) I also love how upbeat it is. :D Skylines and Turnstiles, 8/10- I don't really understand why people do not like this song too much... I think it is a very deep and terrific song to be honest. I think Gerard did a good job on this one, considering it's his first song he ever wrote. ...Though to be fair he has improved much more. By the way it ain't my favorite. But I do like it. Early Sunsets Over Monroeville, 10/10- One of my other favorites on this album, I love how deep the lyrics get when you get even farther into the song, it starts so happy sounding, then... It gets somewhat morbid. I love it. :P This Is The Best Day Ever, 9.5/10- I love this song too. It is so upbeat and lively sounding in a way. Not my favorite one, but I 100% love this song. Cubicles, 10/10- I love this song so much, seriously. Like I said, I enjoy deep songs with emotion. This is definitely one of those songs that have that emotion added to it. Demolition Lovers, 10/10- One of my other favorites! The lyrics are so deep, and it's got a lot of emotion and feeling to it. Overall, this is such a good CD, I am so happy I finally have it in my hands now. (: I 100% recommend it. ... show more

  • Terrible!
Listened to this on Vinyl and it broke my turntable and speakers. They simply could not handle the raw tenacity of this album. Its ripping riffs, and terrifying heartbreaking stories will RIP YOU UP.

  • Very happy with this CD!
Ordered from Zoverstocks, which is a UK seller, to the United States. Naturally there wasn't any tracking info, but it arrived in only a few weeks in a well padded envelope. I paid roughly $30 including shipping at the time of purchase and the disc was listed to be in "Very Good" condition. Arrived with no cracks at all. I'm very happy with the price for what I received. Case and booklet are both well loved by a previous owner and show some normal wear. There are no creases in the booklet and everything is great/clean. (Aside from a small typo in the Demolition Lovers lyrics, but that is a well known distribution problem on the CDs that wasn't corrected until the vinyls started getting produced. I personally think it's hilarious.) Case had the original promotional sticker firmly still on the cover with no peeling. Disc is PERFECT. Totally scratchless whatsoever, which is an incredible feat considering I have bought new CDs sealed only to find that they have minute scratches from the factory. Amazed by the quality of a used CD for an 18 year old record. Love the album itself. Not their best objectively by a long shot, but definitely my personal favorite. My favorite songs are Drowning Lessons, Cubicles, and Demolition Lovers. ... show more

  • A fun record
I bought it as a gift for my little daughter when I knew she really likes this band. She enjoys the record very much, and listens to it a lot. Arrived pretty quickly.

  • No Big Secret Anymore....
Well MCR is not a Secret Underground Rock (they say they are rock not emo) band anymore.... Everyone knows My Chemical Romance Now!!! Third CD coming soon, Nov. 8th '05 I believe! Just for the record, HEADFIRST FOR HALOS is one of the best songs ever by MCR. I also love, HONEY, This Mirror isnt Big Enuff For the Two of Us!!! The BEST DAY EVER (the day he left the hospital) has the best guitar riffs and its one of those QUICKIES you just have to put on REPEAT!! This was their first CD, but NOT a lesser model by any means. each song on this CD sets the stage for the upcomming events between the LOVERS and the DEVIL. Aside from, SkyLines and Turnstyles which illuminates the tragedy of September 11th. Being NJ natives, Manhattan is a train ride away. The story goes, Gerard way was in NYC around 9/11 trying to get his cartoon sold to the cable channel, Cartoon Network. After 9/11 he decided to put his artistic abilities towards music, and express his emotions about the terror of the 9/11 event. Hence the first song was written, Skylines and Turnstyles. Just a bit of trivia for you, hope you enjoyed it. One of the Bands Ever!! ... show more

  • Great album, not so great vinyl
This album is great. I love the songs, the style of music, and the band itself is great as well. However, the vinyl is not as great as I expected it to be. When it first arrived, the box was easy to open. When I pulled the record out of the box, the plastic wrapping seemed rather dusty, and part of the wrapping was bunched up at one corner. That wasn't a big deal, for the side with the opening was easy to slit, and the corner where the wrapping was bunched up was on the other side. It's also easy to see through the plastic wrapping that the album art is pretty pixelated. When I pulled the actual record out of the sleeve, my first impression was that it was very light. I don't know it's exact weight, but I also ordered Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge on vinyl and TCFSR was noticeably heavier. ... show more
