This is my second hyperchiller. My first plastic one split down the side. Along with everyone else's. So I bought the stainless model. UPDATE-upon freezing, the threads pop apart and have to retighten the top every time. Another faulty design, but not a fatal flaw. Cant someone design one of these things correctly? I think the one I received was a return but it looked fine. Upon assembling it, I found the main outer cap would not thread onto the base. I am a machinist and am very familiar with threads and cross threading. It took me a 45 minutes to thread the top on this unit. I think because the stainless steel base has plastic threads fastened to it, there may have been a slight out-of-round to the base threads. I literally tried probably 100 times to thread the top on correctly. Finally I found that I had to press down a bit more then I would have liked and start the thread. There was a little pop sound, and then it started correctly. I did not want to cross thread this unit and have it leak because the threads are just plastic. One shot. I am confident this unit was returned because someone could not thread the top on. So far so good. No leaking. I even tried my old top from my cracked unit and it was the same issue. The problem is the plastic threads attached onto the stainless base are imperfect possibly due to a size discrepancy between pieces. Anyways I'm sure the side won't crack! Coffee on! ... show more

This is seriously amazing!!!! I have been using an alcohol shaker to make my iced coffess every morning. And it gets watered down so easily and I got it down to not make it seriously watered down. But this thing is a game changer 🙌 . Seriously I can actually taste the coffee now and omg never again am I going bsck to shaking it in ice. Never again. So far from what I've read and heard from family dont overfill the water don't even fill to the lines that are in there. Underfill it!!!! It won't crack😁 ... show more

I’ve been using my mine for nearly a year. Still in good shape. Quickly cools coffee. Gets used nearly every day. Made of metal inner containers and plastic exterior. Cracking may be caused by overfilling water that expands when frozen? I follow the max water guidelines and haven’t had any cracking or warping as other reviewers experienced. Pros: • Cools hot liquid fast (it’s one job) • Affordable • Easy to use Cons: • Wide for the amount of beverage it can hold • Difficult to remove lid while frozen • Only good for a single drink I do not let the container melt after each use. I’ll rinse the inside (which I fill with only coffee, no milk or cream) then pop it back in freezer. After several uses, I’ll let it melt completely so I can unscrew all the parts for thorough cleaning. ... show more

Pretty good product! Only downside is that it's pretty big so it takes up a lot of space. Additionally, mine didn't have instructions so I did it wrong the first time. However, now it is working great and it's so nice to not have watery coffee.

I love the color, it's high-quality, and it works. My chiller didn't break and it's easy to set up. With all that said, it takes 12 hours to chill the thing - why wouldn't I just put it in my extremely cold fridge and wait 12 hours? It has the same effect.

I love this thing! It was easy to set up with the instructions and now it just lives in my freezer so I can make my iced coffee every afternoon! It chills my hot coffee to the perfect temperature to put over ice in 60 seconds. I haven't used it for anything but coffee but It's a great little tool to have handy for cold drinks when you want them! Definitely recommend! ... show more

If you like iced coffee or tea, this a great product! You fill the chambers with water per the instructions, and freeze it. Then you pour the hot liquid through the frozen metal chambers, swirl it around for 2-3 minutes, and you have a really really cold drink. You can pour it over ice, and the ice won’t water it down before you can drink it. You can even use it a second time before rechilling. Then you just put the chiller back in the freezer for next time. No need to pour out or replace the water. Love it! ... show more
