I will start off by saying my kids (6 and 3) LOVE the toy. That alone would get it 5 stars. The reason I took a star away was for two reasons. The first reason is because the plastic bit on the conveyor belt comes off WAY too easy. Secondly, the burger, pizza, coffee and cola buttons make no sense. You hit them but they produce some random number as a cost and it's not even a cost that's close to what one of those items would cost. You would think a coffee would be $5.00 and under but sometimes it comes up at $20+ dollars. Some consistency would be nice. ... show more

I brought this to a primary class and the students were so excited to take a turn with it. It would make an excellent gift for a boy or girl who is still into imagination play. My daughter loves to play pretend, and part of that always includes grocery shopping! This little set was absolutely perfect for her! It makes fun scanning noises like the real ones do, she can do the whole “cash or card” but they always ask. It has definitely leveled up her make believe play!

I would have loved this when I was a kid. Like most kids, mine are intrigued by money and playing shop. This works great and they love working the register and using the electronic scanner. They have turned the play room into a "shop" with displays and their toys are the merchandise.
