I am in love with this cup! I was very hesitant when I got it, because I have Stanleys and have loved those. I wasn't sure if I would love the quality, color, and if it would really measure up to the Stanley. I've had this for 2 days now and after the first day, I realized how much I loved it even more so than my Stanley. Here's why. This actually keeps my water colder and for longer than my Stanley. I even have straw covers for my Stanleys, and they don't keep my water cold for nearly as long as my hydrojug. My water is also much colder with the hydrojug than even the Stanley. I believe the reason why is due to the seal that is created to make the cup leak proof. I feel like this helps to insulate the cup even more. I got this cup because I have a toddler who loves to play with my cups and I am always worried about my Stanleys being knocked around and spilling. There is absolutely no leaking whatsoever with this cup and I'm still shocked even though I've seen this in pictures! That right there is my top reason. I also love the straw with this versus the straws with the Stanleys. It's hard to describe why, but I think the size and sturdiness are why. I also LOVE this color! It's even prettier in person! My ONLY fear, based off reading other reviews, is that the handle or straw will break. I will see as I use this over the next couple of months. But so far, it's amazing and even better than I expected. Updating after just a couple weeks of use: I still LOVE it! It is so much easier to use than a Stanley, because I can carry it around without having to worry about spilling! I took it with us on vacation and it made things so much easier! It stays cold for so long too! I love that the straw can't be pulled out! My toddler loves to take straws out of cups and she can't do that with this! So far, the cup is holding up well! I will update again once I've had it for a while! Update: I've now had this cup for going on 6 months and it still works exactly like it did when I purchased it! It's held up nice and strong, even through many drops and bangs. It still doesn't leak and keeps my water ice cold for hours. The only downfall is I took the lid apart to clean it, and now the straw makes a noise everytime I drink from it. But that's not a manufacturer error, that's a user error. I think I messed something up when I took it apart. However, it still works just as well! Overall, it's still my favorite cup to use! ... show more

I didn't understand the hype of this cup until I received it yesterday. Its fairly lightweight but sturdy! The lid is sturdy, the straw insert is NICE (compared to other similar cups), and the flip top straw isn't hard to move at all. I bought this cup for my son, he's 4. He drinks so much water and loves dark blue so he LOVES it. He loves how fun and simple the flip top aspect of the straw is and that he has his own huge water cup (with a clear lid he can see all his ice). haha so fun! Overall, this is a great cup, especially for the price. I'll come back and comment on leaking when it comes to that! But I would recommend (considering getting one for myself) Edit: can confirm, if held upside down with the flip top straw CLOSED, it doesn't leak! Success. ... show more

I didn’t see any reviews for the Kelly green so I thought I’d add one! The color is so cute and even more vibrant in person! I will say it doesn’t hold ice at all really. I don’t mind but I know that’s the whole point for most people. It’s kinda heavy compared to others? I have Stanley’s and brumates too. I’d say brumate is the best because it has a rubber straw, leak proof, and holds ice the best! This one’s still cute to add to the collection though lol ... show more

I love this cup, but as I used it, I started to notice mold under the straw part. I looked up YouTube videos on how to clean it. It was not easy to take apart the straw piece, and maybe harder to put back together. Once I got it all clean and put back together, it does not function the same. The suction is off or something because the straw is now loose and has to be at a slight angle to get a drink, and now leaks water horribly. There should really be an easier way to take apart the lid to clean and I’m pretty disappointed in the design when I originally loved it. I wouldn’t buy again unless the lid was different and easier to clean. It’s still leak proof when the lid is closed, but spills after you take a drink if the cup is tilted to any degree. ... show more
