I have two shades of this, a clear pink, and a darker one and I definitely prefer the darker. The light shade is basically a gloss, no pigment. Obviously the bottle doesn't look high priced, but you cannot tell me this isn't the same as the door lip oil. If there's a difference, it's so minimal.

I would not say it is a lip oil; it is more like a lip gloss, only because it is thicker and sticky. I do think it is a great dupe, and it smells like spearmint!

okay i’m a black girl who uses a brown/black lip liner and wanted to find a red-ish/cherry pink lipgloss to put on the inside of my lips because most other brands were too pink and just looked unnatural, but trust me when i say this is PERFECT. it looks really nice with a brown/black lip liner and has amazing quality. it keeps my lips moisturizered and glossy for hours and has a thicker consistency so less is more, which helped it to last longer. it’s super easy to use with a soft applicator but does take some time to remove due to its thickness, however, a makeup wipe will do just fine. overall i love this so much and if you’re a darker girl looking for a darker lipgloss that can match with darker lipliners, this is the one ... show more

its kind of sticky and is difficult to open. (when you first get it) theres this odd feeling when you put it on and it smells minty, good shine. the wand is a little hard to get out and if not careful it can get messy.

I wouldn’t say it’s a total dupe for the Dior lip oils but I also don’t like the Dior lip oils as much as other Dior products. This is a great lip oil, yes it’s a bit sticky but also stays longer. Not uncomfortable. Looks great after filling lips with fave lipliner—so when it fades, you still have a great color to your lips. Doesn’t taste bad like a lot of lip glosses—has no taste. Very glassy finish—my 12 yo, 17yo, and I (grown woman who’s a Sephora junkie) all enjoy them. And at this price—I stock them everywhere—car, purses, backpacks. I’ve tried so many lip oils and this one is my favorite! It has the perfect consistency, it isn’t sticky at all. It also isn’t runny so, it stays put and it lasts a long time before I have to reapply. I can’t comment on all the shades as I’ve only tired the “rosewood” shade but, it does give a light pigment. This one also has a nice light minty scent and you could feel a very slight cooling sensation on the lips.
