  • Amazing price and quality
Size: Medium Color: Black
I’m not a biker however, this did come with a lot of padding to protect from motorcycle fall. I actually bought this more as a fashion statement, and wow, it is a fantastic look and the material is very well built. Much better than the big name brands like Tommy Hilfiger. I will be buying more of these for sure. ... show more

  • 91% satisfied. "Genuine" leather w/ coating rubbs on spots off, cotton threads fray. No Warranty.
Size: XX-Large Color: Black
UPDATE 24.06.2022. I use it now in the first winter. It holds up very well. No ripped threads till now. I do not use it rough but as an all day jacket daily on the countryside. 5 stars for that instead the previous 3. If you touch any buffed finish up with flat black Angelus leather paint, then you can maintain it as new and nobody will notice. I wished only the leather they use woud be top grain or full grain for added strenght and longevity. The korean inner lining shows already some loose fibers but holds strong. These should be 2 inches longer/taller but work just fine for smaller statued men (yes man, I am wearing this as a man since it is a unisex cut just with opposite zipper and pockets) if bought oversized. If you buy it oversized it will not be too small any time soon for you. I bought it at least 2 sizes bigger. The paint or finish does not flake off but rather rubbs of on wear parts. UPDATE 10.05.2022. The paint gets scuffed up rather easily. If you hit with the jacket on something the paint gets damaged easily as such as exposing the leather underneath it. The paint is an acryllic leather paint which seals it pretty much from moisture and rain. But the paint gets scuffed rather easily as such as it looses the seal. So you have to buy yourself some leather paint as I did. That solves the finish coming off problem. I ordered the Angelus flat black acryllic leather paint. That is duller (matte) than the original paint but it is close enough as bystanders will not notice at first glance the touched up parts. With that leather paint you can touch up the damaged finish and it does that quiet successfully. With flat (matte) black the touched up finish aereas are a little duller (not as shiny) as the surrounding aereas. But the Angelus leather paint holds up well and is applicable rather easily. Just shake the paint bottle, and apply the paint with an Q tipp on the damaged aereas of the finish. After 1 hour you can use the jacked again as the paint has dried enough to be wearable. The finish of these jackets is really damaged rather easily but the Angelus leather paint (for these jackets the flat black is the closest colour) touches and repairs the finish easy and efficiently. The jacket can be maintained like that "as new" when the damaged parts are looked up and thouched up on an regular basis. Where the collar rubbs against other leather there the leather gets buffed as well with time. The Angelus paint seals again the damaged parts water tight and it is flexible and will not come off any time soon. No pre preparation is needed before application just clean a bit the aerea to apply the paint - it will stick to the leather and other finish surrounding it. The Angelus flat black acryllic leather paint is a must for these jackets. UPDATE 24.12.2021. I ordered from these 2 items (2XL size) and on the first I noticed a cut at the leather in the underside of the shoulder stretch system. Looks like a knife cut the leather there at manufacturing and they did not notice it. I claimed it from the seller but they tried to pass the responsability to the customer again several times and only when I contacted them through amazon and sent them some fotos, I guess amazon kicked in and forced the seller/factory to replace the faulty jacket with an new one. They have shipped meanwhile the replacement jacket but I did not have time to inspect it nor open the package. So this seller will only assume any warranty when forced by amazon. Clearly that is an manufacturing mistake (cut through the leather) since that part is not exposed to the exterior and I never used the jacket where it is exposed to the elements. Be advised that this finish is prone to flake off after a time and this finish should never be used on leather clothing since these bend and the coating will delaminate from the leather. Thats what I observe more and more. This tipe of leather can be made very strong like Birkenstock has proven it since they use as well only genuine leather for their Birkenstock sandals. Since this is not full grain or top grain leather, this is a weaker leather which must be made stronger in order to last. That Birkenstock acomplishes by impregnating thermally and fibre webbing underneath the genuine leather which gives it longevity for at least a few decades of lasting. The whole entire genuine leather should be reinforced with that method on this jacket giving it more warmth on top and then added the thermal liner. That would give for an equally long lasting jacket than an full grain leather jacket does. That dense fibre webbing underneathe the genuine leather would turn these jackets into an uttermost durable clothing. It should not be more costly to threat the leather like that making it 100 times more stronger. With a little care that so manufactured leather jacket would last 100 years. Main Review: I bought this for 33$ and I am till now happy with the purchase. It is not an full grain or top grain leather but as far as I can see it is "genuine" leather (split leather). The leather tanning is definatelly done with the chrome tanning process since the leather is on the back side of an blueish colour. Thats an indication of chrome tanning. The leather is coated with an pigment which peels on spots off and will peel off of high wear parts. The thermal liner is of good quality and by far the part of the jacket which will have the most durability. The liner stores some sort of energy (heat) so the jacket will keep you warm when moving. However this jacket is more an jacket for about 20 degrees Celsius climate and most likely is not an jacket for subzero temperatures - then you will need an sweater to put underneath this jacket. The jacket is completely wind tight and works very nice for windy conditions and riding motorcycles or driving an cabriolet. Bad point is the thread is from cotton and cotton can be attacked by the chrome tanned chemicals in the leather decomposing over time the cotton thread as happens already on jackets of other brands as reviews state. The seller says it's an cotton thread with mix of polyester. They should have taken bonded nylon saddlery thread. Nothing serves any "safety stitch" when the thread is from low quality and decomposes after a while. The leather is soft but then does that mean it will fall apart soon? At least it is real leather but I am not sure for how many bends it is rated before it cracks, splits and breaks. Nevertheless this jacket is 1.9 Kg of weight and is of an nice heft. Thats an indication they used a good amount of leather throughout the entire jacket and did not slip in secretly some PU fake leather on invisible parts. As far as I can see it is entirely made from "genuine" leather. For example any average same style Perfecto jacket from PU weights about 1 Kg. So at least one has here genuine leather. An full grain leather Indiana Jones jacket (similar to the Perfecto) from Noble House (Germany) will weigh about 3 Kg - so about 1/3 more than an genuine leather jacket. So with the weight one can estimate well the materials used in the jacket and guess the leather type. The buttons seems to be non/slightly magnetic so they seem to be stainless steel as advertised. I ordered 2 of these in 2XL and the first one has on some spots frayed thread and the leather coating comes off. I contacted the seller/manufacturer and they give no warranty. Warranty is non existent. The seller simply refused to give any warranty upon claiming as did amazon. So if there is an issue they will turn you down and refuse - regards warranty you are on your own. The seller however claims "lifetime warranty" which is clearly not the case and they will turn you down. They told me "only if it is an mayor case" and "thats why it is priced economically" and "not the ripped thread is not an issue - it is a strong thread nevertheless". So thats it what they told me. I claimed on Amazon CS false advertising which they lifted to an higher rank of agents. What worries me is the peeling and flaking off of the leather coating. It must be an rubberish coating on top of the split leather. Be advised that normal split leather can be ripped apart easily so I am not sure how many bend cycles this leather will withstand. I see the thread on the cuffs already fraying so they are definatelly cotton. All HWK leather biker jackets are made of this leather so be advised what to expect. Most all other leather jackets brands below the 200$ mark on amazon are made from this very same leather as well - genuine leather. So this is the best option you have in this quality range. But I never would pay for this more than 60$ so this is a bargain compared to similar made 150$ jackets on amazon and eBay. Even some expensive 300$ brands are made of this same leather - so you know you pay only for the brand and not the material. The main zipper has YKK on it but all the other zippers do not state YKK nowhere on them. So I guess only the main zipper is YKK and the others could be an knock off but they are similarly constructed and seem to be sturdy. I can not see an difference between the quality of the zippers. Pockets are useless for me since the zippers ruin my leather cuffs. Interior pockets are useless as well since they are velcroed. The interior pockets could be not as sturdy since they are only integrated to the korean thermal liner. If they rip off then there is no way to fix them since the thermal liner is fixed and not removable. So be prepared the leather coating comes off easily exposing below the naked genuine leather. Excellent jacket though for wind chill blocking off. The thermal liner is of high quality as far as I can see. The leather is often doubled for reinforcement so that is at least a good thing. This company (HWK Sports) seem to be an Pakistani company at least they dont write well english. The customer service of HWK Sports is definatelly sitting in an foreign country. I use this jacket as an mens jacket and till now nobody asked me about the womens clothing I am wearing - nobody noticed it to date. Are these worth it? Yes maybe. I at least figured to buy 2 of them instead of paying 3 to 4 times the price for the same quality and materials on other brands. These have not "fall-down protectors" built in and there is no room to put them in since the thermal liner is fixed. The 2XL size is 24 inch long/tall and fits me well having I an torso size of about 39 inches. I like these oversized but the shoulders do not look oversized - like this one can wear an pullover underneath. Only time will tell how long this leather will last. I have an chest size of between 39" and 41 inch and the 2XL womens size fits me well if one likes it a little loose and oversized. This model is most likely an universal model for male and female the same cut. Only the zippers and pockets are on the opposite side for men or women. As I understood the manufacturer, the cut is the same. So this is in my opinion an mens design and cut at least it is not noticeable an "womens only" design. I wished this jacket would be about 26" long instead of 24" but this works as well fine. Be aware of desintegrating thread over time and the leather paint (coating) flaking off when it rubbs against objects. The company is obscure and has different email addresses and an vague website completely oriented only to pump out sales as it seems to me. ... show more

  • Great quality, great price
I was looking for a leather, or faux leather, jacket to ride backpack on a Harley. This jacket is amazing and real leather! The price is also great! I didn't really want to spend over $100 on a jacket and this was half that. It fits just right. The pocket zippers get stuck, but they are metal, so if I rub a crayon along them, they should be more smooth. It is stiff right now, but I am hoping it will soften with wear. ... show more

  • Good value for the money
Size: X-Large Color: Black
**Edit** I returned both the L & XL and ordered another L. I guess the 3rd time's a charm because it fit just about perfect without weirdly tight lower arms & the belt/shoulder snaps were as they should be. Obvs. manufacturing on these is hit or miss but I still think it's good value for an actual leather jacket at $40. PROS: a fully lined leather jacket for $40 is a crazy good deal. Point added for that. It seems like it's sturdy and will last a long time. Has a phone pocket inside that looks like it will fit modern giant phones. CONS: Fits weird, seems like it's cut for a male instead of a female body, there is no curve in the waist to account for hips and boobs. As a result there's a bunch of extra material that bulges out at the waist when you move (see pic) and it made me look a lot heavier. Not flattering. Also the belt was useless because the prong is too short & loose to hold the hole you put it in. I tried 2 sizes & the shoulder tabs on one were too long for where the snap was and stuck up weirdly. XL vs L: On my body both fit, but the L was a tad bit too snug in the lower arms to be comfy with a hoodie or sweatshirt underneath as I likely will wear it. The L fit better in the torso but if it's uncomfortable anywhere I already know I won't wear it & they're both too big in the waist so I went with the XL for comfort and inevitable weight gain as I creep past 40. If you're looking to wear this with a dress or more fitted clothes though I would err on sizing down because it will still likely be big in the upper arms and waist. ME: 5'6, 180ish, 43"/35"/44", broad shoulders, somewhat chunky arms. ... show more

  • This jacket is beautiful and the quality is excellent
Size: X-Large Color: Black
I am very happy with my purchase. The leather smelled funny at first but that is normal. I allowed the jacket to air out for a day. Excellent quality for $50 I'm so glad I took the risk and made this purchase.

I love it, I do . It's just really heavy ,which is to be expected I guess . I normally purchase all my jackets in a 3X ,I did and the jacket fit a little snug, the arms ,super tight for me . So I returned it and purchased a 4X ,fit nice ,just the arms fit to big and super long ,little bummed out but overall . It's great quality, especially for the price,it's really a great jacket ! Just not what "I" was expecting. It has pockets inside the jacket, which I thought was pretty cool ! Very stylish jacket ! Worth the money. ... show more

Size: Small Color: Black
I honestly underestimated the quality of this jacket at first but it’s actually GREAT!! Deflects wind and keeps me warm! This jacket is literally the most comfortable jacket I’ve ever owned for riding. Very thick and also fashionable. For sizing reference I am 5’5 and 125 llbs. I got a size small and it still fits a tad bit oversized but in a good way! Lots of room in the pockets and shoulder/back area. I highly recommend this leather jacket for a good quality but cheaper alternative! I swear to you I get compliments on it multiple times a day! 10/10. ... show more
