Make sure power is off , carefully wire the same way old contactor was wired and for under 15 dollars you have a new contactor on your AC..works great and I didn't have to pay some one 300 dollars to do it. Took me less than 10 minutes to put on..

Works fine and I like that the contactor is covered (although testing it is more difficult), but I had round connectors that I had to change to use with this unit. It does not have a normal bolt so you can't use the round bolt-through connectors. Otherwise it works fine.

AC unit outside would not shutoff sometimes. After looking a many vids I found one the man said the contactor can arc inside. I ordered, shut off the power, checked it with a meter, installed it, and no more troubles. Took the old one apart and sure enough, it was fused together.

I have no idea how long this will last, but it fixed by AC problem where anytime the thermostat called for AC, the fuse in the furnace blew. Obviously the 24V part of the old one was shorted. My biggest complaint is that the screw in terminals of this are not as wide as the old one, and do not accept spade terminals like the old one did. You have to strip the wire not use the spade connector for 4 of the wires. ... show more
