My 30lb plate from Yes from all or something liket that fits in the back pocket, and if you a bigger guy like me with money to spend, i would say buy a heavier plate, and it might be more snug in the back pocket, if its thicker, all Amazon bought stuff, not bad, the only other thing is, I have 40 inch chest and the top buckle fits with extra room,, but the waist buckle is not long enough for my fat gut, and pops out, if it was 3 inch longer of slack, then it would stay snug for the waist and lower back, but again I weigh 230 lbs. ... show more

I know it looks big, but this is the medium size pack, which is perfect for every day use. The straps are customizable and cushioned with breathable mesh. It is the most comfortable pack I have ever owned. I use this bag every day for work. This pack withstands a marathon of tasks on a 10 hour shift inside a delivery truck. It’s thrown constantly by me and pushed to the limits so I added a leather strap to the front for quick retrieval. Adding a strap to the MOLLE webbing makes it easier to grab on the go like a duffel. The stitching is well done it is sturdier than my $120 leather bag that it replaced. Everything about this pack is perfect the size, durability, versatility, and it moves with you against your body. It is perfect for hiking because it doesn’t rub on your shoulders/back and it stays where you want it.
